✨ Putting Derbyshire on the map for excellence in classical ballet ✨ We are incredibly proud to share a truly special milestone for Dynamicmotif Dance and Performing Arts Academy. Miss Jackie Nicholas, Principal and Lead Ballet Teacher, has recently been recognised by the Royal Ballet School as an official Affiliate Teacher and Ambassador. This prestigious recognition reflects her continued dedication to excellence in ballet training and her commitment to nurturing the next generation of dancers. This achievement places both Miss Jackie and Dynamicmotif firmly on the map as leaders in the teaching of classical ballet technique within Derby and beyond. At the heart of this recognition is the Affiliate Training and Assessment Programme (ATAP) — a holistic and forward-thinking approach to ballet education. ATAP focuses on developing strong technical foundations, musicality, artistry, and the overall wellbeing of each dancer. It supports teachers in delivering high-quality, structured training that nurtures the whole child, not just the dancer. At Dynamicmotif, we are proud to offer a rich and well-rounded training approach. Alongside our established use of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA), and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), we are now embedding the ATAP methodology across all of our classical ballet classes. This ensures our pupils benefit from a comprehensive, progressive, and industry-recognised training programme—designed to build confident, strong, and expressive dancers. We are delighted to share that Miss Jackie and Dynamicmotif are now featured on the official Royal Ballet School directory of ATAP teachers — a wonderful recognition of the high standards of training we provide. 🔗 Follow the link to view our official listing on the Royal Ballet School directory: https://www.royalballetschool.org.uk/train/dancer-training/dance-teacher-training/affiliate-programme/registered-members/ #Dynamicmotif #ClassicalBallet #RoyalBalletSchool #ATAP #DanceExcellence #DerbyDance #BalletTraining #DanceEducation by @dynamicmotif

🎃👻 A little Halloween magic, a few spooky surprises and plenty of laughter at Dynamicmotif! 🖤 During our final week of term, we enjoyed a spooktacular Halloween-themed week across our classes, and we simply couldn’t resist sharing a little glimpse of the fun! We can always rely on our wonderful senior pupils to bring something a little different to the dressing-up celebrations, and this year certainly didn’t disappoint! From our fabulous Halloween grannies, who brought plenty of giggles and laughter to the studio, to a rather unexpected appearance from Freddy Krueger… in pointe shoes! 😱🩰 Our intermediate Ballet students certainly had a Halloween lesson to remember, with Freddy bringing a whole new meaning to spooky pointe work! 🖤 It’s moments like these that remind us how much joy, creativity and togetherness dance can bring. We love seeing our pupils embrace their imaginations, share a little silliness and make wonderful memories together, both inside and outside the studio. We’ll be sharing even more of our Halloween photographs later on today, when the spookiest night of the year officially arrives! 🎃 But for now, from all of us at Dynamicmotif, we wish our wonderful pupils, families and friends a frightfully fabulous Halloween and a lovely, well-deserved half-term break! 🩰✨ Happy World Ballet Day! 🌍🩰 Ballet has a truly special way of bringing people together, and we feel this so beautifully here at Dynamicmotif. 🖤 From our youngest dancers taking their very first pliés to our senior ballerinas continuing to grow, challenge themselves and follow their dreams, ballet creates a sense of belonging that reaches far beyond the studio. It connects generations, builds friendships, inspires confidence and brings together people who share a love of movement, music and the magic of dance. ✨ Every dancer has their own journey, their own dreams and their own story, but when we come together, we become part of something bigger. A family united by our love of ballet, our passion for learning and our belief that everyone’s best is always enough. 🤍 Today, on World Ballet Day, we celebrate not just the art of ballet, but the wonderful community it creates and the memories, friendships and opportunities that will stay with us long after the music ends. This is what ballet means to us at Dynamicmotif. 💫 #WorldBalletDay #DynamicmotifDancers #BalletFamily #LoveOfDance #YourBestIsAlwaysEnough by @dynamicmotif
🍂🩰 Celebrating World Ballet Day with a little #ThrowbackThursday magic! ✨🍁 Today, we’re celebrating the beauty of Ballet and taking a trip down memory lane to our summer showcase, A Year to Remember. 💫 Our showcase explored the twelve months of the year and the four beautiful seasons, and as we move deeper into autumn, we’re delighted to share this special piece performed by our senior ballerinas, inspired by the gentle falling of autumn leaves. 🍂🤎 Through graceful movement, expressive performance and beautiful musicality, our dancers brought the magic of autumn to life on stage. We’re so proud of the dedication, hard work and passion they bring to their Ballet training. 🩰✨ World Ballet Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the art of Ballet, the incredible dancers who bring it to life and the teachers who inspire the next generation. At Dynamicmotif, we feel incredibly privileged to share our love of Ballet with our dancers every week. 🩰 What better way to celebrate than by revisiting one of our favourite moments from A Year to Remember? 🍁 #WorldBalletDay #ThrowbackThursday #Dynamicmotif #DynamicmotifDancers #DerbyDanceSchool by @dynamicmotif
