Still trying to process this moment… 🤯✨

I crossed the finish line in 1:05, a 2-minute PB for me in just 4 months.

And somehow… I found myself sharing the podium with two elite athletes 🥹🏆 @melanie_maurer__ and @simone.hylife

I don’t even have the words yet. Just a mix of gratitude, disbelief, and pure excitement.

There’s so much behind this moment - the work, the discipline, the setbacks, the small wins that no one sees. And today, it all came together. 🙌

Grateful for every early morning, every tough session, every moment that led to this.

Ready to do it all again tomorrow, let’s do it!! 💪🔥

Thankful to have my sponsors and people around me who have been there to support, encourage and inspire:

Just under 10 years ago, I was unable to do even the simplest things. That’s where my fitness journey truly began. I knew I didn’t want the injury to define me, so I made a promise to myself—I would do everything in my power to never feel that limited again.
What started as small steps turned into something much bigger. I began running, training, and eventually stepping into competitions. Over the years, that journey took me from simply trying to move again to competing on big stages alongside athletes from all over the world.
Today, I can proudly say I’ve overcome every obstacle (no pun intended 😜), and I want to share this journey as a reminder: no matter where you start, it doesn’t define where you can go 💪

It was never about being the best…
It was about not giving up on myself…

@katrinavella_ and @dzintragrech are the first Maltese athletes ever to compete in HYROX Challenger 15... and they finished 10th at the first Major of the season 🔥

Sometimes you need to stop, take a breath and appreciate how far you’ve come 🫶

HAMBURG 🇩🇪 WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! 🔥
10th place at Challenger 15, putting us 25th in the WORLD! 🌍 I’m so lucky to be sharing this experience with an amazing friend @katrinavella_ ❤️
A result I’m incredibly proud of, but one that means so much more than just a placing.

Behind every race are countless hours of training, early mornings, late evenings, tired legs and sacrifices that not everyone sees.

Life is busy. Between work, coaching, family and everyday responsibilities, finding time for yourself isn’t always easy. Some days motivation is nowhere to be found, and sometimes you wonder how you’re going to fit everything in.

But here’s something I’ve learnt along the way...
There is never a perfect time to start chasing something you love. There will always be excuses, responsibilities and reasons to put your dreams on hold.

But don’t wait for the perfect moment. Don’t stop believing in yourself, and don’t give up on the things that make you feel alive.

You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need to start, keep showing up and believe that you’re capable of more than you think.

I’m not just chasing race results. I’m chasing dreams, challenging myself and enjoying every opportunity to do something I’m passionate about.

Proud to represent Malta 🇲🇹

Grateful for the journey, and definitely not done yet!

DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE. ❤️

None of this would be possible without continuous support from my sponsors:
@garminmalta - thanks so much for helping me to keep chasing my dreams 🫶
@warehouse.mt - community that never fails to support, send encouraging messages and always inspires me to keep doing what I do 💛🖤 @daveschembri thanks for sharing this experience with us, coming and supporting us 🙏 @leannebartolo thanks for creating such an amazing place where we can keep improving, inspiring and supporting each other ❤️
@teamsportmalta - always have me covered with my outfits and racing gear 🏃‍♀️👟All the best brands under one ☝️ roof 😍
@finanzi_mt - Having a workplace that understands and supports my sporting journey means more than words can say 🫶 by @dzintragrech
