#SceneStudy Some scenes demand more than a performance, they demand complete honesty. This breakdown wasn’t acting it was me surrendering to the emotions. Im grateful to @puzzler_saber for the chance to go deep, feel deeply and tell the truth on screen through her writing and directing. @silencetheseasfilm Writer/Director : @tals_colouringbook DOP: @fabian.quan Producer: @keanekeanekeanekeanekeane Editor: @cut2jodie Production Design: @j3ssematthews Sound : @_matthewjbeckett by @earlcraigactor1

Greg Gray’s powerful gender-based violence awareness piece urges men to end the cycle of abuse. Research shows that majority of men who abuse women have been victims of abuse themselves. Created by advertising agency FCB (South Africa) and Western Cape Government, we follow a young boy’s journey of childhood trauma to it’s inevitable conclusion. Heartfelt appreciation to our incredible film industry family - we could not have achieved this without each and every one of you. Thank you. CLIENT Western Cape Government Hurt People, Hurt People. #SceneStudy Storytelling has the power to create very important conversations. Certain stories grab your attention from the get go. And it lingers long after the final credits have rolled. Its those kind of stories that,as much I am always greatful for work...but these ones are such a massive honor to help bring to life. Because what happens afterwards is that people talk because it moves them. And those chats about often taboo topics that we dont talk about enough in our communities..its those ones that hold special space in my heart. Its not easy playing characters that are so opposite from who Earl Hendricks is and what I stand for but I never judge the characters. I always focus on the why's and the end game. "What If" is a story that is needed! And im so greatful for writers, directors and producers who create these 🎬 " What If " a @junehousefilms production.
