POSTS STORIES REELS
SPIRITS IS OUT! I couldn’t be more proud of how these songs turned out. You can listen now anywhere that you stream music! This process has been so full of presence and gratitude for me. For the last 4 years @teddykent_audiovisual has put immeasurable hours & thought into crafting this record with me, and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for a friend and collaborator like him. Here’s some love for the crew: @teddykent_audiovisual on engineering, mixing, mastering, upright bass, arranging, and perhaps most importantly, morale. He’s pushed me through a lot of doubt and put me back on track. I can count on this dude to do any song I write justice! @banjomasterm on banjo and mandolin. Micah made every session feel like the most fun I’ve ever had, and by golly he’s one hell of a musician. He can not only cut some mean mash on the banjo, but can play so tenderly when it’s most needed to shape a song. @quinneastburn on mandolin, vocals, and arranging. I’m constantly blown away by Quinn’s ability to breathe life and shape into a piece of music, and play flawlessly on top of it all. He has a ridiculous ear, exquisite tone, and is always driven to make sure that things turn out the best they possibly can. @devinjonesd18 on guitar. Devin’s playing is so beyond anything I can put into words. He’s one of the most creative instrumentalists I know. The flow that he captures in his playing fills me with radiant warmth, not to mention he drives the rhythm of every song so powerfully. @arlea_music on fiddle and vocals. This woman blows. my. mind. Her voice is angelic and her instrumental skills are top notch. She’s one of those people that just emanates soul and pure instinctual expression. There’s a certain soaring feeling that I get every time I listen to her play. @nicolai_welsh on assistant engineering & production. Nico is a standout friend and a great ear to have in the studio. He added his sparkle to a few of these tracks. @rosajoejacobs on background vocals. I love singing with this woman more than anything in the world. I have endless love for her and gratitude for her support. Beautiful cover photo by @devlee.jpg 🤘🌟 Happy listening! ❤️ by @eastdakotarose

Here today to share a cover of a quietly powerful song written by Mr Bill Staines. Thanks so much to him for these words, a reminder to build bridges instead of walls. Wherever you find yourself today— dancing, resting, aching, working, celebrating, or just making it through— we’re sending a little love your way. May we all keep building another bridge 🩵 #folkmusic #allshewrote #banjo #acousticmusic #buildbridgesnotwalls by @eastdakotarose
