This pile might just sit here for a while until I’m ready to accept that I’m done running for the foreseeable future.

Don’t mind me, just catching up on 2026. Enjoy the climate confusion. by @eattrainracerepeat

5k today celebrating this beautiful beast

The cake smash is not delicate

The gear did me well! I was comfortable and dry. No chafing!

Jacket: @runjanji rain runner
Hat: @getsprints
Sports bra: @lumesix
Shorts: @constantly_varied_gear
Socks: @bombas
Sneaks: brooksrunning
Belt: @spibelt
Headphones: @shokzusa opendots2 (yes- they were perfect in the rain)
@kttape on the wonky knee
And @bodyglide

Got a mile in and started to get hot so I tucked the jacket into the spibelt.

Questionable decisions? Yes. Entirely.

I slept weird yesterday and my lats and neck have been really uncooperative. The knee is still not 100%. But the run felt good. I went surprisingly faster than I thought I would, even doing 3/1 intervals. Even in the wets.

Last weekend I was running 14s. This weekend I was running 12s.

What?

Is this what happens with sleep and proper nutrition? Orrrrr was I just having a good day?

Solid middle of the pack performance.

Doesn’t matter. I’ll take the win. by @eattrainracerepeat

This weekend was ultra.

Ultra crewing
Ultra earlies
Ultra lates
Ultra emotions
Ultra silliness
Ultra driving
Ultra running
Ultra slowgirls
Ultra recovery
Ultra eating
Ultra napping
Ultra laundry

Most importantly, ultra full of gratitude for the people I’ve met through this sport, the family we’ve made and the epic things we’re doing. I’m in awe of you. I’m in awe of myself because of you.

Thank you @francescafrasc and @on for the post-run spa event!

Feature Friday is SO BACK, and today we’re celebrating those cheering us on as we move through miles on the roads, trails, and waters. Swipe for four awesome cheering/race support stories and fun race signs!

Want to share your story or have a theme for Feature Friday? Send me a DM! Together, we go far 🩵

Running is an individual sport, but it’s so much bigger than just YOU. It’s community - the family who comes along for the journey, the strangers you meet who become friends on race courses, the connections you make during miles shared.. I want to create encouraging spaces where people know they’re not alone!

Favorite fan Friday!

I’m submitting my mom, Sue, and her best friend Dee. You can find the two of them at Broad and Vine - nearly every BSR since 2011- cheering, in costume and handing out goodies like freeze pops, mini ducks and secret bottles of fireball. They recently got into ultra volunteering with Loopy Looper in NJ

I know as a runner that having spectator energy can be magic and it’s just a great boost during the race seeing a funny sign or having a stranger yell your name.

@shererstephanie is the best cheerleader a runner/tri could ask for! She’s made signs, coordinated friends and fam, and cheered me on in every tri I’ve been in. by @eattrainracerepeat

First run in 40 days. It was ok. A little over 2 miles with 3/1 intervals. Slower than molasses in winter, but still better than nothing at all.

The past few weeks have been really hard. I’m definitely in a funk. I’m working through it but man… funk.

I finally got my fancy coffee at the end of the run.

How I felt before starting day 2 of stacktember. Sleep was crap. Anxiety is high. I want to do nothing but stay in bed with my dogs…

But it’s done. Today was mobility day and I’m slightly less of a troll for having rachel talking to me through my shokz.

First workout in over a month and I suddenly forget how to take a photo for insta-posts.

I’m taking it slow on reentry with @basecampwellness.co ‘s snacktember. It’s 30 days of bite sized workouts that will help me rebuild strength and confidence in my body, especially nursing the wonky knee.

Today was upper body. Took me 20mins and I was sweating! I love the simple approach, rachel is doing the workout with me via recording and giving form/breathing/accommodation suggestions along the way.

I also grabbed a nonfizz @celsiusofficial and forgot how smooth this green tea peach mango flavor is.

Dreams do come true!

A little #latergram of the @vitaminshoppe unboxing. I was the randomly selected winner for the #poweryoursummer giveaway. The box was filled with goodies from @questnutrition , @barebells.usa and a @yeti cooler which was very handy to stash all of my caffeine in for @loopylooperultras
