How did we get to this amazing kiss?

>>scroll right to see the daytime start!

It was an amazing wedding, started innocently enough with a shot by the pool. Then a silly dare that wasn’t meant to actually happen. But it did and it was so worth it. Who doesn’t love the way this ended?

4 years later we hope they are still dartng each other to do fun & adventurous things, be spontaneous & share passionate kisses!

Naomi had an easy choice when it came to her “something old” item for her wedding. She chose to get married in her grandmother, Maxine Wright’s dress that was from 1961. Her grandmother’s cousin, a seamstress in Nashville, TN, designed the dress. Over the years it was preserved and passed down through generations. What a beautiful way to honor her lovely lineage!

We love hosting outdoor weddings. Here in Malibu, we have the opportunity nearly year round. We have to pay close attention to the weather and partner with our couples to make decisions that will ensure the comfort of their guests. Earlier this month, it was still hot! Setting up for an outdoor wedding ceremony in the sun meant adding hand fans and parasols. Of course we wanted the set up to be useful and beautiful!

Kristy & David are celebrating their 5 year anniversary today. We have watched them grow together as they are a couple that have become friends. They are each kind humans and beautiful together. We were delighted to work with them to coordinate such a lovely celebration and are even more honored to call them friends.

I am so happy for you two. May you continue to support each other in every way. We love you and wish you a very happy anniversary!

This was our last proposal on Westward Beach. The location is currently not available due to erosion, and we are heartbroken. This is also the location of the very first proposal we ever planned. We love this beach and all our Malibu beaches. Unfortunately the waves are hitting harder & the sand is being swept away. We hope to have more opportunities to create beautiful proposals on the beaches but for now, we are hoping that the civil engineers figure out how to save our beaches!

Xoxo

Nolie and Kevin carefully & thoughtfully planned their wedding from across the country. We loved collaborating with them throughout the process. They selected a great vendor team which makes things go so much easier on your wedding day. Everyone worked hard to ensure they had the best day ever. Congratulations!!!

We were honored to help Bri & Franky with their wedding in Santa Barbara this week. They choose to get married in a public place - The Mural Room at the Santa Barbara courthouse. There is history in this space. There were strangers peeking in and smiling knowing what was happening and they were witnessing a beautiful moment. And it was so beautiful.

Cheers to your wedding and thank you for allowing us to be a part of it! 🥂

Travis and Ruthie | Wedding by @ebelingevents

This was the sweetest little micro wedding 🥹 💕 Their closest family and best friends traveled from overseas to California to celebrate their union!

They spent the morning getting ready together in their home before heading to the venue to elope, followed by an intimate dinner where even more of their loved ones joined in through Zoom from across the world.

Small, intentional, incredibly personal… and such a beautiful reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to hold so much love and beauty ✨

Happy 4th anniversary!

Yes - I’m a week late, but I don’t want to miss the chance to share this and send out love!

This amazing beach wedding was a favorite of ours. We loved creating a beautiful space to celebrate Celia & Scott’s wedding. And it turned out to be so much fun!

Outdoor weddings are the best and even better at the beach. It’s why we live here.

So why not get married at your favorite spot? Logistics are hard, generators are required, weather is not guaranteed. There are so many reasons not to but there are even more to say yes to it. I’m grateful Celia and Scott trusted us and we could create an amazing set up and execute their wedding just as they envisioned.

Wishing you two many more years filled with love and adventures!
