The world is coming together for #COP31. And we’ll be there.

From 9 to 20 November, the EBRD will join global leaders, businesses and partners in Antalya, Türkiye, to turn ambition into investment.

Our focus? Accelerating the energy transition, supporting greener industry, strengthening resilience and mobilising private capital.

Our President Odile Renaud-Basso met Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv to discuss the EBRD’s support for the Ukrainian economy amid intensifying Russian attacks on transport, logistics and other civilian infrastructure.

The Bank will continue to provide critical financing for Ukraine’s infrastructure while developing new initiatives to strengthen private-sector resilience, help businesses withstand further shocks and sustain economic activity.

As Ukraine’s largest institutional investor, the EBRD has deployed almost €11 billion in the country since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Our commitment to Ukraine remains unwavering.

Back in 2007, Olena started a small stationary distribution that grew into one of Eastern Europe's largest producers of paint by numbers kits.⁣
⁣
Forced to relocate from Dnipro due to the constant threat of shelling, the company rebuilt much of its workforce and restored production with support from EBRD and its Small Business Impact Fund. As Ukrainians turned to art for comfort, demand for Ukrainian-themed painting kits surged, bringing new opportunities for local artists.⁣

Today, the business operates a large production facility capable of producing over 320,000 units a month, while expanding into international markets. by @ebrd_official

January 2026 was Ukraine’s coldest month in 15 years.

As winter approaches, securing essential energy infrastructure remains an urgent priority. That’s why, alongside our donors such as Norway, we’re stepping up support to rebuild, protect, and fortify Ukraine’s power systems.

What difference does reliable access to water make?

In Karakol, Kyrgyz Republic, residents once had to wake up at 4 am just to collect water.

Today, with support from @seco_cooperation, the city is modernising its water infrastructure, making everyday life easier for residents and local businesses.
