POSTS STORIES REELS

Two things my dad always said: Trust God and don’t let anyone or anything steal your joy. These are the the two things that I’ve been clinging to over the past few weeks. I feel as though God has a purpose and plan for everyone on this earth and when that assignment is completed he takes them to join Him in heaven, just like he did with my dad. Throughout his battle against cancer over the past months, he remained so strong in faith. I’ve never met someone as humble, caring, generous and joyful as my father and I have always told him that I hope my husband would be as good of a husband as he is to my mum. Although I am already missing my dad so much, I honestly am happy that he got to leave this crazy world and enter into a place of eternal peace. by @ebunopata

“I just really locked in, realizing this is my last season doing track and field.“

Ebun Opata leaves WashU as a 12x All-American. The last two national meets, she saw her chance at a national title slip away on her competitor’s last jump.

She brings her perspective on how she dealt with that twice and why she’s not letting a national title define her career.

Beyond the accolades, it’s the impact on her teammates and the legacy she leaves behind that truly matters. Her story is one of resilience, growth, and inspiration.
