🤼‍♂️ Pan Pacific & Pan American Championships 🇺🇸

Last weekend, Mel and I competed at the Pan Pacific Championship in Melbourne 🇦🇺

I competed in weight and open for No Gi, achieving 🥇 and 🥉 Mel competed in weight and open for both Gi and No Gi, and after some tough matches came away with 4 x 🥉

We both travelled straight from Melbourne to Fort Worth, Texas 🇺🇸 to compete at the Pan American Championship the following week.

I competed on Friday, making it through a 25 person division to come away with 🥇

Mel competed Sunday, facing a tough opponent from the B-Team first up, and whilst winning on the scoreboard 4 - 2, was caught with an armbar.

-

A significant amount of time, effort, and money goes into attending these competitions, and we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this.

Big thanks to everyone at @fusionfightandfitness, especially our regular training partners who have made preparing for these competitions possible.

Thank whoyou everyone has purchased a number from the money board - it has directly contributed to helping us travel. There are only 10 numbers left.

Thank you @adam_physiotherapy for also sponsoring me.

Our biggest sponsors are by far my Mum and Dad who not only helped us financially, but were up at early hours of the morning to watch us live!

Next competition will be No Gi World's in Vegas 🇺🇸 in December. by @ecmp.bjj

Huge thanks to Ethan Cannon for an amazing seminar today 🙌🔥

It’s always great to learn from high-level competitors who are out there testing their skills at the highest level.

Lots of great details, plenty for the team to take away and work on, and some super fun rounds to finish off the morning ❤️
