3 years in business 🌷

What started as a spontaneous idea has grown into a full time business that’s introduced me to so many incredible people and allowed me to be a part of so many special memories. Three years of planting the seeds, learning as I go, and constantly reminding myself that growth comes with time. I’ve poured every ounce of myself into this dream and I am immensely grateful to every single person that has supported me and trusted me as their photographer.

It is because of you that ECS Scenes Photography continues to bloom year after year 🤍

Hi! I’m Emily—the face behind ECS Scenes! After almost 2 years of growing my business, I’m finally stepping in front of the camera to say hello and introduce myself to all of the new faces that have recently joined my page.

A couple fun facts about me:

- I have my Bachelor of Arts degree and spent 4 years studying all things photography, film, and visual arts.

- In my free time I love grabbing an iced coffee or matcha then going thrifting or shopping for more plants (bc I probably killed the last ones I bought) or a new book.

- I will be starting grad school this fall for my M.A. in Digital Communication Leadership so let’s get your shoots on my calendar before my availability becomes limited!

- I am always chasing that wanderlust feeling and constantly researching where I should travel next on TikTok. So far I have been to Italy, France, Canada, Puerto Rico, and 15 US states.

I am so so grateful that I have been able to come this far in my photography business in a short time 🥹 if you’ve been here since the beginning supporting me, have written a review on my site, referred me to a friend or are new here-thank you so much for helping to make this dream possible and keeping my small business going!

Also can’t forget to thank all of the talented women that made this shoot happen 🫶

Celebrating ONE YEAR as a full time business owner!! 🎉

One year ago today I clocked out for the last time and decided to give everything I have to this business 🥹 there was no plan B, there wasn’t even really a plan A (I made the decision to resign only days before I actually did) and omg the blessings that have come since then!!

The last year has been nothing but growth and resilience and learning to let go of the doubts and believe that I am capable. I fully feel like this is where I’m supposed to be and I’m so so grateful for the continuous support!!

Another engagement sesh for your feed 🤍

I’ve loved capturing this family over the past year and now their journey to marriage & it was so special that they found a way to include their faith in their photos ⛪️💍

This mommy & me session could not have been more perfect 🌾🐛

We ran through the tall grass, chased butterflies, and gave mom lots of hugs!! I love how natural and candid these came out 🥰
