Last Saturday 06.13.26, was another historical and emotional day at @gracieuniversityhq!
Big congratulations to my ❤️ @countkelly on her purple belt! I also want to celebrate every single one that got promoted and all the people who have been sharing the mat with us!! #jiujitsu #selfdefense by @eddie_morais

My 4 Brazilian brothers… These great martial artists really helped me during the difficult time while I was taking care of my mom and after she passed away. If you ever get an opportunity to train with them, do it! Thank you so much, Eddie, Daniel, Murilo, Weber.

From 🇧🇷 Brazil to 🌊 California — this episode hits different.

Eddie Morais isn’t just a brown belt at Gracie University… he’s a walking reminder that energy, service, and mindset matter more than titles.

In this conversation we talk about:
• Why he originally didn’t even want to train Jiu-Jitsu
• The moment the clinch changed his perspective on real self-defense
• Working at HQ and why he calls it the “University of Helpers”
• Cleanliness, discipline, and doing the small things with excellence
• Surfing massive swells and the powerful truth that “the ocean doesn’t even know you exist”
• Why we are still bigger than anything we face — if we believe it
• Energy, meditation, love for people, and living intentionally all the way to 100 years old

This isn’t just about Jiu-Jitsu.
It’s about humility.
It’s about awareness.
It’s about becoming a better human being.
