🎉 California voters said YES to Proposition 1! The passage of the Veterans and Affordable Housing Bond Act of 2026 is expected to help fund up to 40,000 affordable rental homes across California, expanding housing opportunities for seniors, working families, veterans, and more Californians. 💚 A heartfelt thank you to the advocates, community partners, organizations, volunteers, and voters who participated in this effort over the years. #TeamEden was thrilled to join our partner Black Cultural Zone (BCZ), elected officials, funders, supporters, and community members in East Oakland to celebrate the groundbreaking of The Residences at Liberation Park! This exciting milestone marks the beginning of construction on 119 new affordable homes for individuals and families, including homes for residents with special needs and spaces designed to support local artists, entrepreneurs, and a family childcare business. 🙌 A fresh new chapter for Tierra Linda and Pajaro Court! We recently celebrated the grand reopening of Tierra Linda and Pajaro Court in Watsonville, marking the completion of extensive renovations that will help preserve 28 affordable homes for local families for years to come! From updated kitchens and bathrooms to new windows, lighting, and major building system improvements, these renovations are about more than giving our communities a fresh look. They're about protecting the quality and affordability of the homes our residents depend on. As Rebecca Foster, CEO of the Housing Accelerator Fund, shared, “Building new affordable housing matters, but so does protecting the affordable homes we already have.” We couldn't agree more! A heartfelt thank you to the all our funders, partners, and supporters who helped make these improvements possible. We're especially grateful to our residents for their patience and understanding throughout the renovation process, and to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special milestone. #AffordableHousing #HousingPreservation #EdenHousing by @eden_housing

Here's a little peek at our move-in days! And there's more to look forward to! We'll be celebrating Clover Terraces' grand opening in December. Stay tuned. by @eden_housing

A huge thank you to the Kaiser Permanente Supply Chain team members who spent their morning volunteering at The Altenheim. In less than three hours, the team rolled up their sleeves to power-wash walkways, tend to the gardens, clean and polish furniture, and spruce up community spaces throughout the property. Their hard work helped make The Altenheim even more welcoming for our residents. Thank you for showing up with such enthusiasm and care. We’re grateful to have community partners who are willing to lend a hand and make a meaningful difference! 👏 Interested in volunteer with Eden? It takes a village to build affordable housing. And Pacific Station North Apartments is a wonderful example of what that really means. After years of planning, partnership, and persistence, we joined the City of Santa Cruz, For The Future Housing, and the many partners who helped make this community possible to celebrate the grand opening of 128 new affordable homes in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz! 🎉 Pacific Station North is about more than housing. As part of the larger Pacific Station redevelopment, it brings together affordable homes, transit, commercial spaces, and new infrastructure in one transit-oriented downtown community. Residents will also receive long-term Santa Cruz METRO passes, providing free access to METRO buses. Projects like this don’t happen without a village. From the City of Santa Cruz and Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District to our funding, development, construction, and community partners, decades of work and collaboration helped bring us to this milestone. 👏 Housing Authority of The County of Santa Cruz, Congressman Jimmy Panetta, California Department of Housing & Community Development & Strategic Growth Council, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, California Debt Limit Allocation Committee, California Municipal Finance Authority, U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance, Fifth Third Bank, Berkadia / Freddie Mac, Housing Trust Silicon Valley / Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP), Humphreys & Partners Architects, Echelcon Inc. To everyone who had a hand in making Pacific Station North a reality: thank you. And most importantly, welcome home to our new residents! 🔗 More about this community: https://edenhousing.org/properties/pacific-station-north-apartments/ #PacificStationNorth #AffordableHousing #SantaCruz #EdenHousing by @eden_housing
