Attention all riders!!! To ensure the safety and best experience of all participants we were forced to make a last minute change to the full course. An email has been sent with more complete info. . We will be doing an out and back to Lewis Peak rather than descend to Windsurfer and its road connections. All riders will follow Pioneer trail to finish as done by short course in previous years. . A full Racer Guide will be sent out by end of week with complete details. #bikerace #edenepictraining #construction #getoutandlive #bikesarefun by @edenepic
Course is looking good! Had the chance to recon ride the course with some friends and my 13 yo man cub who’s planning to compete this year. Great time getting out on trail, and it’s running great! 🚨 NEW RACE RULE FOR 2026 🚨 To improve fairness on the climbs, the Eden Epic will introduce mandatory rider weigh-ins before major climbs. Riders under 160 lbs must carry additional weight to level the playing field. Approved ballast options include: • Full water bottles • Pocket rocks • Spare chains • Extra snacks Riders over 200 lbs may apply for the “natural ballast exemption.” Be honest… would this make climbing fairer or just make everyone angry?
