Just a late night illustration of Me & Nikü 🌙✨
She showed up when things got heavy and she never really left. 🖤

A quiet, heavy emptiness. 💫
For as long as I can remember, even as a kid I would look up at the sky and this aching feeling would overwhelm me. There has been a quiet, heavy emptiness inside of me. Like a story with its most vital chapter torn out before the book could even begin. Psychologists actually have a name for this. It’s a profound, lifelong yearning for an unattainable connection. A bittersweet longing for a missing piece of your existence that you can’t quite define. It leaves you feeling entirely untethered, as if you are grieving someone or something you have never met or have never known, looking into the faces of strangers for a presence you cannot name.

I don’t have an answer to this feeling. I don’t know how to fix it, or where else to put it except into my art. When these moments happen and I try to explain it I feel like no one understands it, lol. 🥲 Most nights, I just find myself looking up at the moon, wondering if I’m searching a sky that doesn’t belong to me. Like if I’m not in the right dimension. Maybe there is no missing piece. Maybe I just feel things too deeply. Sometimes, I just want to scream it all into the sky and wait for an echo… ._.

Made some fresh new totes! 💕 Pressed two of my most popular designs onto these cute tie-dye tote bags! 🥰

They’re both up on the shop now if you’d like to bring one home! Which one do you like? Pink or blue?! 💙💖

I wanted to redraw Nikü and make her feel more expressive. I love how she looks with her eyes closed. I also renamed it “The Sensitive Soul.” Now I’m happy with it. 🌙💕

For the longest time I was told I was “too sensitive” or “too much.” It took me a long time to realize that it’s okay! I rather feel everything than nothing at all. This one’s for my fellow sensitive souls. 💗

This print is now available in my shop 🛍️

I’ve been spending a lot of time offline lately, but watching this little table (and myself) grow as I figure out this art thing has been pretty sweet. It’s been 2 years so far! We’ve come a long way! 💖🌸 by @eggurumi

A few years ago, my sister surprised me with a replica of my childhood teddy bear that I had lost. 🧸

I love this little guy so much, so he has inspired my latest piece. Also thank you to my lovely sister @z0mb.e for bringing him back to me! 💗

I can’t decide on the final palette… do you like color 1 or color 2? 💬🎨
