Adam and Eve: The Last Journey from Mars Before the Earth knew human feet, Before its oceans kissed the shore, Two souls escaped a dying world, Where life could breathe no more. From Mars they came, through endless night, With knowledge, dreams and ancient flame, A final journey through the stars, Two survivors, Adam and Eve by name. They carried secrets of their world, Machines and wisdom from the past, Searching for a place to live, A home where life could finally last. They found the Earth, so green and blue, A world of rivers, trees and skies, They built a home, a paradise, Beneath the sun's awakening eyes. Perhaps that garden was their base, A shelter from a world unknown, Where Adam stood and Eve beside him, Two strangers making Earth their home. But time erased their distant past, Their technology turned to dust, Their stories became ancient tales, Their history became belief and trust. And generations came and went, Forgetting where their journey began, Calling Adam father of mankind, And wondering who first walked this land. Perhaps the stars still hold the truth, Of worlds that lived and disappeared, And somewhere Mars remembers them, The two survivors who brought life here. by @ekpeliving
Across the plains of Jezero, where ancient waters ran, A lonely scout of steel and wire fulfills the dreams of man. With wheels of carved aluminum and eyes of sapphire glass, It counts the silent, frozen days that over Mars will pass. It listens to the desert wind and writes in crimson dust, A testament to human hope, of patience and of trust. No human hand can guide its path across the rocky floor, Yet mile by mile it climbs the ridge to find an ancient shore. It drills into the silent stone and holds the past in stone, A vanguard for the coming race, out drilling all alone. And back on Earth, we watch the stars and trace the tracks it made— A monument of stubborn grit that time will never fade. by @ekpeliving
