Sappy Dad post: My sweet Stella @estrellas.violetas is now a week into her next adventure… This time it is 2 years of grad school in Germany. It was a bittersweet goodbye, as you can imagine. I’m so incredibly proud of her! And I am also incredibly sad to say goodbye. I’ve been so blessed by this amazing human who made me a dad almost 23 years ago. I always knew she was destined for amazing things. Seeing all she has done, and is yet going to do brings me so much joy. I’m extremely grateful for the times that she has visited with me over the past several years and I don’t take that for granted. From hanging out in Wyoming, to attending rock shows, to spending time with family… it’s been lovely! It was especially meaningful to have our final goodbye (for now) after seeing Damien Jurado @maraqopa perform. 22 years ago I would rock her as a baby and sing his songs to her. How cool that we got to go to his concert as a final hurrah here in the states! Anyway… Here’s some recent pics, some vintage pics, and a Bon voyage picture. I miss her. 😭 🇩🇪 Germany is lucky to have her… Love you, Pamplemousse. Do great things! by @el_maestro76

LCD Soundsystem was so awesome at Shaky Knees! I put this here reel together from some of the footage I got. A montage, if you will. Main speakers cut out before the climax of “All My Friends” but that didn’t stop the fans from belting it out while the band rocked out on stage. Great vibes all around!! #lcdsoundsystem #shakyknees @lcdsoundsystem @shakykneesfest by @el_maestro76

Rest in peace Wolfgang Amadeus Schröter “Wolfie”. We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye. 18 years old, 15 of those years with me. My little friend. My therapist. My ride or die. May your ears forever flap in the wind, may your steaks be rare, and may your adventures continue forever. Run free sweet boy. You were the best dog I’ve ever known in my life. 💔 🐾 by @el_maestro76

Lovely Easter weekend with my lovely family! (Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Betty 😔 but had a nice visit from Stella and Rosie 😊) by @el_maestro76

15 years ago today, my brothers and I shaved our heads to support Mom as she was about to start chemo. (Which didn’t end up happening). We had no idea that we would lose her less than 2 months later.
@catpowerofficial sang a song last night (I’ll Be Seeing You), made me think of both of my parents who have passed. I have a feeling I’m not the only one who choked up during that song. Love you and miss you Mom and Dad.
Peace and love to all my friends and family who have lost loved ones. ♥️ by @el_maestro76

My “little” Betty is now a TEENAGER. I love this girl sooooo much! I can’t put into words how much she means to me. I don’t get to see her nearly as often as I would like, but when we’re together she sure does bless my soul. Happy birthday Betty Blue! I pray that 13 is a wonderful year for you. Your dad loves you more than you will ever know. Here’s some random pics from over the past year, and an old picture for good measure. by @el_maestro76
