The annual Lakewood Coder Days @heritagelakewood is here! Come taste and make fresh cider!

This year is different. You will not be seeing apples or apple cider at any of our Farmers Market stands this year.

Just so you know, we lost our entire Apple crop to a severe freeze this year as did almost all of Colorado's Apple growers. So this year, and this will only, we have brought in apples from out of state to be able to continue the tradition of Cider Days. These are the apples you will see in our stand at The Cider Days Festival and which make up this year's Cider at the Cider DaysFestival. They are still organic, just not from Ela Family Farms' Orchards. by @elafamilyfarms

Stock up on fresh, Organic, heirloom tomatoes while they last! Grown in the sun and soils of Western Colorado, these tomatoes are super flavorful - just like grapes for wine, tomatoes get a richness of flavor specific to where they are grown.

Colorado Community in Action | Part 1: Supporting Local Farms 🍎

Rocking Martini Farm lost most of its apples, and Ela Family Farms lost its entire fruit crop.

Tap the Beacons link in my bio—both support options are at the top. Please don’t contact Rocking Martini asking to pick or arrive expecting apples. They’re closed for U-pick.

Donate, shop or share. Every little bit reminds these farmers that their community is still here. Let’s share this post to spread as much visibility as possible, really wanting to help these guys out. @coloradomamalife just a mom trying to use her platform for some good in the world. 🤍 #applepicking #coloradofarm #coloradomom #support #supportlocal by @elafamilyfarms
