If Nancy Drew were 47 … this is the mystery she’d be solving. 🕵️‍♀️ UP TO HER NECK out April ‘27. Preorder 👇🫰

POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s Episode 6 of the Secret of the Lost Mine, and our MC Wendy is the one keeping secrets. What suspicious Sleuths want to know: Who benefits if Wendy calls it quits?

I’m giving away my personal copy of The Nancy Drew Collection, a beautifully printed and bound collection of the first four original 1930s Nancy Drew mysteries, with a fantastic essay by @nancydrewexpert Jennifer Fisher. Fresh off the press from @canterburyclassics

Make an early guess below and you’ll be entered in the drawing: Whodunnit? Add a motive and we’ll enter your name twice.

Wendy’s secretive neighbor, William, who always turns up when she needs help?
Nettie, the caustic deputy sheriff who’s started pursuing William again?
And what about Nettie’s boss, Sheriff Willetts?
Or Wendy’s contractor, Terry, a notorious flirt who plays all sides?
And Pamela the bartender sure seems eager to point fingers.

Need an easy way to catch up on all of the episodes? I’ve linked them in chronological order in the blog at elainewolff dot com (or of course you can scroll through my feed; I posted the first Episode September 2).

Welcome back, River Heights Sleuths! If you haven’t been comparing notes yet, now’s the time.

Could the victim found on Wendy’s hot springs property be related to a man (wrongfully?) convicted of offing his bunk mate in 1888?

What did you catch in this week’s episode?

What does the owner of the local dive bar know about William?

And most importantly, what would Nancy do?

Follow, comment, tag your friends - next week: a big clue drop & your first chance to win a #WWND? ballcap!

It’s getting hot in here! Sheriff Willetts is ready to move on a suspect. His deputy Nettie is running out of time. And over at the Alpenglow, the ghost of a wronged man is getting restless.

Hi, all (all y’all, and especially Texas - heyyyy ;). Apologies - the sound is a little crazy on this episode. I’ve been on the road, moving our winter home. Packed away somewhere here is my copy of The Nancy Drew Collection, from @canterburyclassics, featuring an intro essay from @nancydrewexpert. It’s the one I’m giving away … as soon as I figure out which box it’s in. That means you’ve got another week to get in on the drawing: make a guess below - whodunnit and/or why - and you’ll be in the drawing for this beautifully bound collection of the original first four #nancydrew mysteries.

Tag your friends, share this post, bookmark it, but most of all: Tell me what you think is going on in Lucknow!

Von Ryan’s Express was made into a movie starring Frank Sinatra. David Westheimer also novelized the screenplay for Days of Wine & Roses, and wrote several other novels, as well as a nonfiction account of his experience as a World War II POW after he was shot down over Italy.
The copies M inherited have wonderful inscriptions - will post more when they’re unpacked.
