Kids getting better and better everyday they be putting in the work and trusting the process that’s what I like to see OSU by @elek_kitchen

Over The Summer, I’ve had the honor to be a part of the beginning an amazing theatrical company called the Wild Thread Theatre Company at the Wild Oscar’s in the Akron Civic Theatre! I’ve been a part of three dramatic readings and now finishing up my last weekend of performances for the first full production, MARJORIE PRIME!

This production takes place in the recent future where A.I. and artificial human beings start to replace what humans once held value for when it came to therapy and care. Come see our show tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, or Sunday at 2:30pm!!

Happy birthday Zippy!! 🦘 by @elek_kitchen

As we all are giving last year a close, I want to say Thank You to 2025 for giving me great memories and new experiences.

One of the things I am most proud of is that I trained and ranked up in from an Orange Belt (7th Kyu) to a Purple Belt (4th Kyu) in Shotokan Karate, as well as compete in two tournaments with one of them using a Staff Kata!

Some other honorable mentions are that I took my first ever featured lead role in a dance recital this past summer, leading my first ever youth acting workshop months prior, as well as continue working on my backyard production studio, took some figurative drawing classes for my new Illustration minor!

I am continuing to build my collective of friends for a new society called the BrickHouse Branches! We’ve had a successful Halloween Party with my mom hosting us as the Incredibles, and I even got to host my VERY FIRST Friendsgiving event in our back yard!

The most important thing I want everyone to know is that it’s who you know that makes the difference. I got to hang out with some truly valuable people! You can be experienced in a lot of great activities, but it just feels better when you are able to share your talents and passions with others!

[Reminder: This is just a sample of some the things I’ve done this year and this list is NOT exclusive! There were many other great memories and happy moments that are not photographed in this post.]

Some of my resolutions is to become better at photography, restore connections with family and friends, as well as be able to focus on the positive things in life!

We all have ups and downs, but it’s where we can put our energy that matters the most! Remember, we’re all in this together! So Let’s give the Year 2026 a Great Welcome!! by @elek_kitchen

Big News for Sketch Comedy in Akron, WE DID IT!!

A couple weeks ago as of July 2024, my Pac-Man video hit over 30K views on YouTube, making it the most popular video of all time on the ZTV Akron After Hours Channel! It’s been a blast putting together costumes and effects to create this fun-filled chase scene with retro-style characters!

Special thanks to our former producer, Dylan for helping me film and edit this content, as well as Jessica, Kyle and Bryan for playing the other ghosts!

On YouTube, search “Pac Man | Akron After Hours” to view the full video, be sure to leave a like and a comment! :)

This past Friday, I had the honor to graduate from the University of Akron with my Bachelor’s in Communication: Media Studies and a minor in Psychology. It’s so incredible to think that after five years, I’d have made so many new friends and open myself up to the more possibilities that college could offer! I also want to take this time to Congratulate everyone who put in their heart and soul to reach this accomplishment! Proud to be a UA Alumni! 🎓🦘 #gozips #classof2024 #uakron by @elek_kitchen

What a BLAST we’ve had this weekend!!

After attending the CBI Convention this October, I‘ve gotten the chance to meet so many people within the college radio & television industry, as well as sit in on a couple of sessions to learn from many professionals in the field!

At the awards, @ztv300secondsofscience got 3rd Place overall for General Entertainment with their Fingerprinting Episode, and @wzipfm got 2nd Place overall for Best Station Imaging!

Thank You @askcbi for an amazing time! Congrats to everyone who came, and won these special awards. Looking forward to everyone’s success for the next year! :) #cbiorlando by @elek_kitchen
