I was very excited to cosplay Starfire at NYCC for the first time in 10 years (complete with my Titans beau, Nightwing)! I had a fun time making her staff from The Judas Contract, I started with a lime green acrylic tube that I found in Chinatown. People on the subway kept mistaking it for a pole to hold on to. 😬

Friendsday: Fantastic Edition.

I made a Rogue cosplay for NYCC and the little jacket is probably my favorite thing I’ve made in years. Jackets typically fall into the “no thank you” bucket of sewing for me, but this turned out very cute. And I got to hang with many 90s X-Men friends repping Marvel on Friday! 💚💛

I’m going to be at @bkcomiccon in 2 weeks and I’m glad my first con of 2023 is local! AND I’ll be in my Sue Storm cosplay on Saturday, which means I could be anywhere at anytime 👀 my friends @nyc_fantasticfour will be there as well - @misterabsfitness is our beacon and makes us easy to find 🥹🪨 come say hi!

A year ago, I was in full crafting panic mode for my first Katsu in 5 years. This year, I’m going to LA for 9 days instead 🥲 Maybe 2024 will yield a Gaylord room. But also, if not, I can find another sunny location to disappear to. 😌
