A little moment we’re proud to share.

El Fish Marisquería is featured in RedBook Dining NYC, celebrating our corner of the Upper West Side and the coastal flavors that inspire everything we do.

From Ensenada and Baja California to Amsterdam Avenue, our idea has always been to bring the spirit of the coast to New York through fresh seafood, agave, hospitality, and a team that puts care into every service.

Seeing El Fish on these pages is especially meaningful because behind every plate, cocktail, and evening in the dining room is this incredible group of people.

Thank you to RedBook Dining NYC for including us, and to our Upper West Side community for continuing to make El Fish part of the neighborhood.

From Ensenada to the Upper West Side. 🌊🐟

Happy Sotol Week, amigos! 🌵✨

If you’re in NYC, I highly invite you to visit El Fish Marisqueria @elfishmarisqueria on the Upper East Side. My dear friend and long standing, excellent sommelier partner, Ariel Lacayo @lacayoariel will take spectacular care of you! 🥂

They are featuring a different Sotol Romo @sotolromo cocktail every week, and this week’s lineup is absolutely delicioso. 🌺 The standout? A Hibiscus cocktail with Sotol Romo and a spicy Tajín rim. Sotol Romo’s earthy, bright desert minerality and subtle herbal notes blend so perfectly with the tart hibiscus that it makes this drink dangerously good, I immediately wanted a second one! 🍹🔥

There’s also another amazing special on the menu featuring extracted tuna (prickly pear) color and a savory sal de gusano rim. 🐛🌵 And to perfectly end your meal, you have to get their Sotol infused fortified style drink, it works incredibly well as a dessert pour. 🍮✨

👇 Have you explored the world of Sotol yet? Let me know in the comments, and tag the friend you’re bringing to the Upper East Side to try these this week! by @elfishmarisqueria

Behind the dish: Fideo Seco. 🍜🦞

From the kitchen to the table, every detail matters. Mexican noodles meet lobster, black truffle, a creamy tomato-chipotle sauce, and queso fresco in one of our most indulgent creations.

Come see how it comes together—and then taste the final result.

And now, a little more time to stay awhile. 🌙
Starting today, Thursday through Saturday, we’re open until 11 PM.

Dinner, drinks, and one more round? We’ll see you at El Fish.

Finally excited about a restaurant on the Upper West Side again: @elfishmarisqueria !

Howwwww did I NOT know about this place? It’s on 67th, basically a block away from where I hang out multiple days a week. 😭

Why didn’t you all tell me? I’d remember about it! It’s called “El Fish!” YO QUIERO EL FISH 🐟

I discovered it because I was invited as a plus-one to try it out through @reddiningbook ! By bringing the book, we got $30 off our meal. So fun!! I love learning the history of a place and I love a stamp.

This place has an amazing menu. I want almost everything on it, and I would happily order both of the dishes we tried, pictured here, again. The drinks, apps, entrees, desserts… it all looks great to me.

The two dishes we had were so flavorful, fun and filling. We genuinely couldn’t decide which one we liked more.

Also, a tiny thing, but I loved the tea and the little pot and cup they brought it in. 🫖

Not a tiny thing: so rare to see an accessible restaurant!!

And I loved just sitting there. It’s such a calming space, the people were lovely, and somehow it feels nice when it’s quiet AND nice when it’s popping.

It’s a great place to go to after a movie or the ballet or the opera! Great for dates! Great for reading alone with a book!

10/10. I miss it already. by @elfishmarisqueria
