Join us tonight for 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 and the grand opening of the North Arcade at Dayton Arcade! 🎉

We’ll be open until 𝟴 𝗣𝗠, and from 𝟱–𝟴 𝗣𝗠 artist 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁𝘇 will give a live demonstration at The Contemporary Dayton where she will be sharing how she hand-sews on her watercolor paintings.

Frontz’s exhibition, vernal equinox, is currently on view and features recent interdisciplinary work exploring the relationships between materials, forms, color, environment, nature, and poetry. Stop by to see the exhibition and experience part of her creative process in action.

✨ 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟰 | 𝟲–𝟴 𝗣𝗠 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙖 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙯: 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙭 This new body of work by Dayton-based artist, musician, and poet Elisha Frontz celebrates the delicate threshold between winter and spring. Through mixed-media paintings—watercolor on paper layered with sewing patterns, string, and brass tacks—Frontz explores balance, renewal, and the quiet energy gathering beneath the surface.

🎨 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟱 | 𝟱–𝟴 𝗣𝗠 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Bring a project, start something new, and create alongside fellow artists in a welcoming, low-pressure space. We’ll have collage and sketching materials on hand, but feel free to bring your own: drawing tools, watercolor sets, or collage supplies welcome! (Please note: no oil or acrylic paints or charcoal; these sessions are designed for cleaner materials.)

No experience needed, just an openness to create, connect, and have fun through art.
