Soft waves, a lace-edged veil, & that last bit of golden light ✨

Loose, romantic curls are the perfect partner for a statement veil. Lace detailing is having a major moment for the coming season, so if you’ve been eyeing a veil like this one, consider this your sign 👀

THE ARRIVAL GETS BOLDER.👽

This couture alien didn’t need layers of fabric to make an entrance, her skin became part of the fashion.

A barely there crystal drenched piece against that rich, glowing skin created something sensual, powerful, and almost otherworldly. The bronze tones melting into the Valley of Fire made her feel less like she was placed in the desert and more like she belonged to it.

Minimal fabric. Maximum impact. Skin, crystals, light, and confidence.

Every alien in my storyboard arrived differently.

This one came to seduce the desert. 👽✨

THEY LANDED… AND SHE CAME TO CONQUER. 🖤👽

Continuing the story of my couture aliens in the desert…

Every woman in the storyboard had her own identity, her own energy and she was the dangerous one.

Draped in black, covered in intricate beading and crystal like details, this look felt like armor from another world. Sexy. Sculpted. Mysterious. Powerful.

Against the raw warmth of the Valley of Fire, the contrast was everything.

That’s what styling is for me, not simply dressing a woman, but creating a character, a world, and a story.

Last year at Bokeh Summit Las Vegas, the UFO landed and couture emerged.

Next year, we create an entirely new universe. 🖤👽

Listen. I haven’t seen myself in a wedding dress in 26 years, so my day with gown designer @rasad0914 and wedding planner @j_ladsonweddings was a lot fun.👰🏾‍♀️
Our annual @portiatvshow wedding day episode is going to be luxe and lovely, but we’ve got money-saving tips too. Now would you believe my dress is actually for the maid of honor?! 👀
So, #Brides and #Bridezillas! Would you let your maid or matron wear this on your special day? 💒 Check out the poll and drop your comments below. 👇🏾 by @elitepourlavie
