My bookstagram wrapped 🤍

My 2025 personality is entirely shaped by romance novels and I literally loved every one!
I’ve read so many good books this year and discovered a lot of new authors. As well a few book series I absolutely loved like ´The Windy City´ and ˋMagnolia Falls´… and some series I have to finish in 2026 like ˋSparrow Falls´ and ˋMountain Men Matchmaker´📚

Discover my fave reads throughout the monthly wrap up 🫶🏻
I hope your reading year was as great as mine 🥰

Which was your fave book or book series this year?

🍂 Left of Forever - Tarah DeWitt 🤎

I went into this book not knowing what to expect. A divorced couple finding their way back to each other? I honestly wasn’t sure how that could work…

And somehow, it turned into one of the most beautiful, emotional, and healing love stories I’ve ever read. 🥹

This wasn’t just about two people falling in love again. It was about two people who never really stopped loving each other, but had to learn how to communicate, how to understand each other’s pain, and how to find their way back to themselves along the way.

I loved how their story unfolded through little moments, honest conversations, shared memories, and the kind of vulnerability that takes so much courage. No grand gestures needed. Just two people choosing to show up for each other, even after everything they’ve been through.

And the fact that they were childhood friends, young lovers, and built an entire life together? My heart. 😭🤎

Also, him still calling her by his last name? Excuse me?! 🫠

I cried more than once reading this book, and I genuinely think it’s one of the most heartfelt second-chance romances I’ve ever experienced.

Sometimes love isn’t about starting over. It’s about finding your way back to what was always there.🍁

QOTD: What’s a book that surprised you by becoming an unexpected favorite?

October reading wrap-up 🍂📚🎃

Four books, two 5-star reads, and a new series obsession🤎

October brought me some really lovely romances, but ‚Kiss Me Like You Mean It‘ was the perfect cozy fall read. Small-town vibes, second chances, friends to lovers, and the best friend’s brother? Basically everything I love wrapped into one story. 🍁

‚I’m Gonna Get You Back’ might be under 200 pages, but it completely stole my heart and earned its place among my favorite reads of the year. 🥹✨

And after loving the Twisted series, I wasn’t sure if Ana Huang’s Kings of Sin series would win me over just as much. Well… ‚King of Wrath‘ definitely did, and I’ve already ordered the next books. 🤭

What was your favorite book you read in October? 🤎

Being a book lover is more than just reading books 📖🦋💙

Sometimes it’s collecting pretty editions, annotating favorite quotes, creating bookmarks or spending way too much time on bookish little projects. ✨

And somehow, one hobby turns into five. 🤭

Does your love for books stop at reading, or do you have other book-related hobbies too? 🤍

more than just books… ☕📖🤎

Lately, I’ve realized that this little corner of Instagram has slowly become something like a personal diary.

It started with books, and books will always be a huge part of who I am. But somewhere along the way, I started sharing more of the little things, too. Coffee dates, everyday moments, memories, creative projects, and even the more personal parts of life. The happy moments, the difficult ones, and everything in between.

And funny enough, the same thing is happening with my reading journal.

As I’m about to finish my very first notebook from beginning to end (which is actually a pretty big deal for me 🥹), I’m getting ready to start a new one.
Only this time, I want it to be more than just a place to write about books. I want it to hold memories, photos, little keepsakes, messy thoughts, and everything in between.

A little less perfection, a little more me.

And I guess that’s exactly what this account has become, too. 🤎

Do you ever feel like your Instagram has become a little personal diary, too?

Happy Birthday in Heaven, Grandma 🤍

Today is your first birthday without you here, and while I wish more than anything that we could celebrate together, I still want to celebrate you.
Because I’ve always believed that birthdays are about so much more than getting another year older.

To me, birthdays are a celebration of life. A reminder that on this very day, someone came into this world and became part of so many people’s stories.
And I think that’s something worth celebrating, even when that person is no longer with us.

I have a little tradition that might seem unusual to some people, but it has always brought me comfort.
When someone I love passes away, I still celebrate their birthday.
I buy a birthday card. I bake something or get a little sweet treat. I light a candle. And I take a moment to remember them, wish them a happy birthday, and celebrate the life they lived.

Because just because someone is no longer here doesn’t mean their birthday stops being special.
I don’t really keep track of the days I lost people. Those aren’t the days I want to remember them by.
I’d rather remember the days they were born. The days their stories began.
The laughter, the conversations, the little traditions, the memories we made together. All the things that made them who they were, and all the ways they made our lives a little brighter.

Grief is different for everyone, and this is simply one of the ways I choose to carry mine.

So today, I’m celebrating my grandma. Not just because I miss her, but because I’m grateful that she was here. That I got to know her, love her, and have her as part of my life.
And maybe this is also a little reminder to cherish the people you love while they’re here. Celebrate their birthdays. Take the pictures. Make the memories. Say the things you want to say.

Because one day, those little moments become the memories we hold closest.

And I hope we never stop celebrating the lives of the people we love, even when we have to celebrate without them.🤍

Happy Birthday, Grandma. I’ll always save a little piece of cake for you. 🎂

Smaller accounts, big creativity 📖✨

One of my favorite things about Bookstagram is discovering new accounts and seeing how differently everyone shares their love for books.

There are so many incredibly creative people in this community, and sometimes the most beautiful little corners of Bookstagram deserve a little more attention. 🤍

So I wanted to share a few smaller accounts I’ve recently discovered and absolutely loved. 🤭🥰

From beautiful photography and creative ideas to thoughtful reviews and genuine bookish conversations, these accounts have brought a little extra joy to my feed.

Because creativity isn’t measured in follower counts, and sometimes a little shoutout can go a long way.

Do you have a favorite smaller bookish account? Tag them below so we can discover some new favorites together! 🫶🏻

Let’s start a new book together! 📖☕💛

A fresh romance, a cup of coffee, my favorite annotation tabs, and a few sticky notes — everything I need to get lost in a new story.

I’m ready to meet some new fictional characters and probably get way too attached to them. 🤭

Do you annotate your books or prefer to keep the pages untouched?

Today is World Mental Health Day 🤍

I’ve been living with anxiety for almost 20 years. I experienced my first depression at 15, and when I tried to open up, I wasn’t heard.

Things only started to change when people finally listened, took me seriously, and offered me help. Because sometimes, you simply can’t find your way out on your own.

Over the years, I’ve struggled with depression, an eating disorder, anxiety, and panic attacks. I’ve been in and out of therapy for almost ten years, and I see it as one of the greatest gifts I give myself. A form of self-care. Time to heal, grow, and understand myself better.

I still struggle sometimes, but today I feel stronger than ever. Not because everything is easy, but because I’ve learned so much about myself and because some incredible people have stood by my side.

Teachers, coworkers, friends. People who made a difference simply by caring.

So here’s what I want to say today:

You never know what someone is going through, no matter how happy or put-together they seem.

When you ask someone „How are you?“, mean it. Be willing to hear the real answer.

You don’t need the perfect words or a solution to every problem. Sometimes listening, showing up, and reminding someone they’re not alone can make all the difference.

And to my friends and everyone who has stayed by my side through all these years: Thank you. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for every single one of you. You mean more to me than you’ll ever know. 🤍

September was a VERY good reading month 🍂📚

Six books and not a single one below 4 stars? I’ll take it 🤭

I somehow ended up with three 5-star reads this month, which definitely made choosing a favorite impossible 🥹

Here’s to more cozy reading days, good books and way too much coffee in October ☕️🤎

What was your favorite read in September?
