I’ve started something new, drawing. I was inspired by those vintage travel posters and wanted to recreate my own from photos I’ve taken during my travels. by @elizabethjoanart
Collage no.38 - TOTALITY One year ago, today, I witnessed totality. It changed me. I really can’t even explain why it felt so powerful but it did. I made this collage right after I got back, it’s my biggest collage, it’s my favorite collage and it spilled out of me effortlessly, it was a puzzle where I knew where every piece fit. by @elizabethjoanart
Collage no.39 I’m back, sorry it took me so long. I’ve been wanting to make art all winter long but was struggling to start. To start seemed overwhelming and so I didn’t start. I had so many ideas and things I wanted to say with my art but again, where do you start? How do you start? The pressure I was putting on myself was taking away from why I enjoy creating art. So I guess you could call no.39 somewhat of a self portrait of what it feels to be an artist at the moment. by @elizabethjoanart
Collage no.33 Don’t worry your pretty little heads, I still have collages to post, I still have plans to sell prints, my online store is 95% ready. But with the weather changing and my ankle healing the collaging has slowed way down but I’ll come back to it someday, creativity comes in tides. by @elizabethjoanart
