postcards from Sydney! 🌊 by @elizabethjoysanders

it’s that time of year again, and by time of year I mean time to go into the Boston public library and take one photo before getting screeched at to leave — which I truly understand — but also one must romanticize the academic life if one is going to feel inspired to utilize these grand halls of knowledge, but I digress. It’s almost fall, it’s almost time to study and eat apple cider donuts and sit by the wayside and dream about the greats who came before us 🕯️📚

having a bright and beautiful space is half the work as an artist or someone creative or you name it, because once you have the space you have THE space to make the space and make the things that come a particular place to a particular people.

feat. @yumiincolor’s space by @elizabethjoysanders

every year, new englanders run to nantucket, the cape, the vineyard – they drink the honeysuckle and smell the ocean breeze and tell themselves that these two weeks at the end of summer make up for at least two months of cold torture barreling toward them. maybe it’s the scarcity that grows appreciation, maybe it’s a calm breath from their busy lives, maybe it’s as shallow & profound as celebrating a singular moment. either way, the light leaks like glory
