One of our favorite family traditions is scheduling a professional photoshoot on every annual family vacation. Itโ€™s our way of capturing not only how much our family grows each year, but also the incredible places that we are fortunate enough to explore along the way โ€” some of which we may only visit once in our lifetime. Last week, we checked off our first trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท And what better backdrop for a photoshoot than the stunning, vibrantly colorful Escadaria Selarรณn (Selarรณn Steps)? Our photographer, Amanda Nunes (@amanda_nunes), was absolutely amazing and captured the beauty, personality and memories of this special trip perfectly. Here are just a few of our favorites! Huge thanks also goes out to our fantastic Fora Travel Advisor, Marisa Butterworth, for planning this entire amazing trip including this photoshoot. @mrs.butterworthtravel The Lewis Family adventures continue. More stamps in the passport, more memories made and we are grateful! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ๐ŸŒŽ ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ๐Ÿ“… Thursday, 10.29.2026 by @ellalewis_2015
Still learning Brazilian Portuguese but fluent in FUTEBOL! ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทโšฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ The beautiful game speaks every language and no translation is needed! One of the absolute highlights of our Brazil trip was the FIFA Street Soccer Favela Tour with @favelarepublica! Got to hit the pitch with local Brazilian players who call Tavares Bastos Favela home, along with fellow travelers from all over the world. Different languages, different backgrounds, one love for the game! Beyond the soccer, we got an incredible glimpse into the culture, history and community that make this place so special. An unforgettable experience on and off the pitch! โค๏ธ FUTEBOL truly brings the world together! ๐ŸŒŽโšฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ“ Tavares Bastos Favela ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ๐Ÿ“… Tuesday 10.27.2026 #RioDeJaneiro #Brazil #FIFAStreetSoccer #FavelaRepublica #TheBeautifulGame by @ellalewis_2015
