REVEL NATTYS 💜

Leaving this week I’m feeling filled with gratitude for this amazing company. Becoming a Pro Reveler truly was such an amazing opportunity and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Traveling this year with @reveldanceconvention through @revelprogram has been so inspiring. The faculty, fellow pros, and all the attendees, I’m constantly so inspired. This week truly was such a gift. I’ve met lifelong friends and grown as a dancer. My heart is so full!! I want to thank all of the faculty at REVEL and a special thanks to @frankmusso , @trevorsones , and @funkyrbs for creating this space for dancers. 💜

I also want to thank my studio @rhythmdancecompany I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without you guys. Thank you @nicolekelley1 for all you do. I’m never able to find the right words to truly express my gratitude for you 🫶🥹

Lastly, I want to thank @deancollege, @georgemasonu , @montclairstateu , and @shsudance for the scholarships I received! Truly feeling so blessed and grateful 🤍🤍 by @ellalgagnon

Nattys 26’ 🩵

After 15 years of dancing I can’t believe I’m now saying I only have one more year left with my family at RDC. I want to thank all of @rhythmdancecompany for everything. Every rehearsal, every competition, every class, RDC makes so special. Thank you @nicolekelley1 for everything. I honestly don’t have enough words to express the amount of gratitude I have for all you do. I look up to you everyday 🩵. Thank you @juleslanee for always pushing me. You have pushed me to be a better dancer and not only that but a better person. Lastly, thank you to all the other staff at RDC for the constant love, support, and encouragement. You truly can’t find a group of better mentors anywhere else. And to my friends, I love you all and I’m so grateful to call you my best friends and sisters for life. Next up… senior year 🥹 by @ellalgagnon

Celiac Disease Awareness Month 💚
Every year that goes by since my diagnosis I have struggled to explain something people can’t fully see. People hear celiac disease and think gluten-free food, labels, substitutions. But for me, it was so much more than food. It became hospital visits, fear, isolation, exhaustion, anxiety, grief, and learning how quickly your entire life can change. It became mourning the version of myself that existed before everything fell apart in 2021. There’s a strange kind of loneliness that comes with a chronic illness. You look fine enough that people assume you’re okay, while quietly carrying things that changed you forever. And after a while, you stop trying to explain it because no words ever seem big enough for what it actually feels like. For a long time, I thought healing meant returning to who I was before. But I don’t think that’s possible anymore. Some experiences split your life into a “before” and “after,” and you never fully become the same person again. The goal isn’t to erase what happened. It’s learning how to exist alongside it without letting it consume you. Celiac disease took a lot from me. It took comfort, normalcy, trust in my own body, and years I can never get back. But somewhere in all of that pain, it also forced me to become stronger, more understanding, and more aware of the battles people fight silently every day. I still have hard days. I still grieve parts of my life that changed. And honestly, I think a part of me always will. But I’ve learned that healing is not a straight line. Sometimes healing is just deciding to keep going even when your life looks nothing like you imagined it would. So this month isn’t just about celiac awareness for me. It’s about the invisible things people survive. The quiet resilience people carry. And the reminder that even when suffering changes you, it does not make you unworthy of a beautiful life. If you’re struggling silently with anything right now, you are not weak for finding it hard. And you do not have to carry it alone. 💚 Happy Celiac Disease Awareness Month. by @ellalgagnon
