As the seasons change, so do our bodies needs!

Join us for a Fall Wellness Workshop in partnership with @new_leaf_detroit!

As we transition into the colder months, it’s important to remain intentional about prioritizing our health and wellness while understanding how to support our bodies through seasonal changes.

During this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to make fire cider and herbal tinctures, explore their traditional uses, and discover ways to incorporate these herbal preparations into their fall and winter wellness routines.

Hear from Minete, one of the moms in our program, as she shares how Nourish Detroit has impacted her family. 🧡

Through Nourish Detroit, we equip families with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to prioritize their health and wellness through nutrition, cooking, gardening, and movement.

Our goal is for families to take what they learn, create meaningful changes within their own homes, and use that knowledge to encourage healthier lifestyles within their communities because we believe that when families thrive, communities thrive ✨ by @ellemichelle_

Flashback Friday 📸

The seeds of generational health continue to be sowed as the Wellness Festival takes place this Saturday, August 22nd from 12 PM - 4 PM.

Grow Moore Produce Cooperative member Travis Peters of Green Boots Veteran Community Horticulture Gardens Marketplace co-hosted a holistic health event with the vision of self-determination alongside Micah Simpson of Juiiced and Lauren Slade of Arukah Restores back in April.

Fast forward to this Saturday's Wellness Festival hosted by Arukah Restores, Travis will be facilitating a workshop entitled Thriving at Home: Building a Self-Sufficient Family, prodding participants to rethink consumption, grow food when possible, reduce waste, protect essential resources like food, water, soil, and energy, and build skills that create greater independence and resilience.

In other words, it takes a village. And we are proud to be of it.

Come out this weekend for a seeded affair:
