Why am I running?

I am running because DC deserves a government that works as hard as its people do.

I am running to bring urgency back to City Council — to fix the “wait and see” culture and demand accountability for how our dollars are spent.

I am running to make sure every ward sees real results.

This isn’t about politics as usual. It’s about service, solutions, and building a city that truly works for you.

If you’re ready for leadership that delivers, join this campaign. Share this video, sign up to volunteer, and donate to help us build a city that works for everyone.

Washington, DC — it’s time.

Nina Taylor is officially running for DC City Council At-Large.

This campaign is about more than a seat — it’s about service that works. It’s about a city that moves at the speed of its people. It’s about leadership that listens, delivers, and shows up for every ward.

Nina has spent her career building solutions at the intersection of policy, education, and community. Now she’s bringing that same focus, innovation, and accountability home to DC.

If you’ve ever felt like government should work better… faster… fairer — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to sit on the sidelines.

This is our moment to build a District that leads.

Join us. Follow the movement. Share the vision.

Happy MLK Day! ❤️

If you've seen any of his speeches, you know that Dr. King did not adjust his tone for comfort, applause, or acceptance. His voice was anchored in conviction, faith, and love.

That same truth applies today: relationships are sustained by brands that remain anchored, not reactive. Values don’t shift with trends. Integrity doesn’t wait for permission.

Doing what’s right—especially when it costs you—is how trust is built and where your business begins to thrive.

Let your values, not the moment, set your voice.

I am not a graphic designer, a photo editor, or any other trendy title of the moment. I’m just a writer who once hated writing for other people to read. But entrepreneurship will hand you every assignment it thinks you’re ready for long before you feel ready.

People see the polished posts and assume there’s a whole team. They imagine someone doing the visuals, someone shaping the voice, someone editing the photos. What they don’t see is me at my big white desk, laptop open, asking God how to turn something half-explained into something people can actually feel. They don’t see the late nights, the prayers, or the way I sit with ideas until the real message shows up.

And no, I’m not a designer—but my strategy is deep, my execution is clean, my frameworks are strong, and my writing is top tier. My brand voice development? Elite.

It works because I don’t create from trend—I create from truth. Some days that’s all I’ve got. I try to say what God tells me to say, and my creativity ends up being prophetic, not just strategic. It aligns. It carries weight.

Entrepreneurship stretches you like that. It makes you listen deeper, discern quicker, and build around the assignments God gave you—not just the skills you started with. You learn while you go. You build while believing.

Some days look polished. Other days, you’re holding it together with prayer, grit, and a YouTube tutorial. But both days count.

So no—I’m not a graphic designer or a photo editor. I’m a servant with purpose, faith, and a desire to be obedient.

I bring a mind that thinks deeply, a voice that cuts through noise, and clarity that strengthens everything I touch.

And if you’re building like that too, remember:
You don’t need the trendy title.
You only need the oil, the discipline, and the courage to keep showing up.
That’s how real brands get built.
That’s how God develops entrepreneurs.

Real talk… we don’t have to worry about AI taking over the world, because most of us are too lazy — or too exhausted — to train it to. That’s not an insult; that’s just what happens when you’re juggling responsibility, big vision, and the everyday chaos of being human. The last thing anybody wants is to fight with a tool that was supposed to make life easier.

And that’s why we have to rethink how we use AI. If it’s going to be in our lives, it needs to actually support our lives. It should ease the pressure, help you shape the ideas sitting in those five half-used notebooks, and take on the work you don’t always have the mental space to start from scratch.

Before anybody starts acting weird, let me be clear:
AI will never replace GOD, prayer, or companionship.
(Some of y’all can’t make friends because you simply aren’t friendly… but we’ll save that for later.)

AI can’t breathe peace into your lungs, comfort you through grief, or give you identity. It’s a helper — not a healer. A tool — not a truth.
But when you let AI do what it can do — organize your thoughts, lighten your load, and support your creativity — life gets a little easier. Not because AI is magical, but because you finally stopped trying to do everything by yourself.

And the best part? You get time back. Time to breathe, rest, and enjoy the people and things you love instead of constantly running behind your own life.

I’m not “fangirling” or saying you should worship technology. I’m just saying: if God gives you vision and also gives you tools to walk it out… why wouldn’t you use them?

Make AI work harder, so your life gets easier — and let it be what it’s actually meant to be: support, not something to be scared of.

And yes… I made AI write some of this. 😅

2025 has been a year… and I want to close it out by giving back with intention and joy.

Forty-two years. Forty-two gifts. One purpose.

Join me on Saturday, December 6th at 8PM as we collect unwrapped toys and gift cards to support NCCF and make this season brighter for children in our community.
This year, we’ll be focusing on gifts for ages 4–8, but gifts for all age groups are welcome and appreciated.

If you can’t make it, but still want to donate — or need gift ideas — DM me. by @ninataylordc

I was today years old when I found out that November is Entrepreneurship Month, this week is Global Enterprise Week, and today is National Entrepreneur Day. And today, that hit a little different.

Entrepreneurship isn’t just a cute label. It’s faith, grit, creativity, exhaustion, and hope happening at the same time.

For a lot of us—especially Black
women and Black creators—it’s juggling clients and crises, serving community while trying not to lose yourself, and holding everything together with prayer and caffeine while fighting the urge to say a few choice words.

It’s the part we don’t talk about enough—the stretching, the humbling, the lonely moments, the “is this even worth it?” thoughts.

But days like today remind us: yo, we’re really out here doing this. Creating. Building. Learning. Surviving. Sometimes thriving. But doing it.

So if you’re an entrepreneur: you deserve credit, rest, support, and space to grow at your own pace.

And here’s to the builders and dreamers—the ones who said “yes” to something that felt bigger than what they had.

Happy National Entrepreneur Day to everyone making it work—messy, true, brave, tired, hopeful, and still becoming.

Keep showing up, growing and building at your own pace. taken in Hyattsville, Maryland by @ninataylordc

Clarity isn’t a vibe—it’s a weapon.

And when you truly know who you are in Christ? You stop waiting for permission to show up.

🎯 Identity + Increase is the foundation.

Here’s an intro to Step 1 of the Aligned + Assigned Approach ➡️ Identity + Increase

Once you know who God created you to be…you can expand what He’s called you to do. 😌

Are you ready to stop hiding? 👀
