7.5 hours in total. If anyone is thinking of getting a neck tattoo I say go for it. The first 3/4 hours is a breeze if you have a high pain threshold after that is absolute torture I’d rather be punched in the face for 7 hours repeatedly and not be able to hit back than want to smash your tattooist face in for every stroke of the needle but I 100% recommend @dieforarttattoo I was feeling like a pussy and weak for not being able to handle the pain but they was brilliant with me made sure I had something to eat before starting and supplied me with protein bars and red bulls gave me time for my body to recover from the shock of being brutally tortured stayed really late to finish it off to a decent standard. Unfortunately it isn’t finished only because I could not handle any more pain after 7 hours I was ready to punch @elliott_b_tattoos and throw myself off the bed he was so accommodating on the occasions I asked for a break as I was violently shaking made sure I was ok and recovered properly before starting again didn’t let me leave until I felt absolutely fine and my blood pressure was stable. I’ve been to a few tattooist and no one has put my health and safety first the way he did and all of them at @dieforarttattoo. The studio is such a vibe with brilliant people. Very talented tattooist I’m already looking forward to having the neck piece finished off

Thank you to my husband @johneashton16 for paying towards it for my birthday very much appreciated and thank you for holding the fort at home picking the kids up sorting the dogs and making tea ❤️ love you by @elliott_b_tattoos

Lots of meaning in this one for Jo. I really worked hard to find the correct flow for all the elements so everything has its own space without feeling overcrowded.

Rework for Lee. He came to the studio with an unfinished attempt at a Giger piece from a different studio. I knew I had my work cut out but I wanted to make this tattoo something he’d be finally proud to wear.

Swipe along to see the original tattoo 👀
