Chris is digging footings for an accessibility ramp. I’m providing emotional support from the heated truck. 😂🚚

Marriage is about teamwork. Nobody said equal temperatures. 💅🤣

No Halloween costume needed. I’ve already been 16 different people before lunch. 🎃😂

Construction business owner, mom, wife, accountant, project manager, marketing department… and somehow still answering emails after hours. 🤦🏻‍♀️☕

Pinterest shows the dream kitchen. It doesn’t show the marriage counseling required to get there. 😂🔨

Open cabinets, tools everywhere, and approximately 47 decisions later. Welcome to the messy side of kitchen remodeling, where patience is not included. 🤣

Free therapy session in progress. No appointment needed. 🕳️😂

Chris says nothing clears his head like digging footings. I say it’s because I can’t follow him into the hole. 🤣

Business owner stress is when your coffee goes cold before the first phone call ends. ☕😂

Running a construction company with my husband… it’s a love story with a lot of change orders, missed lunches, and “Babe, we have a problem.” 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Married business owners, please tell me we’re not the only ones. 😂

He thought he was marrying the love of his life. Turns out he was also signing up for a lifetime of unpaid change orders. 😂💍

Marriage is beautiful. Running a construction business together is a whole different adventure. 🤣🛠️ by @ellyfilho_

Me: “I’ll just touch up one wall.”
Also me, four hours later: 🎨

Interior painting is my version of yoga. Running a general contractor business on the South Shore means I rarely get to pick up the brush anymore, so when I do, one wall turns into the whole room.

What’s the home project you swore would take an hour? Be honest.

Some houses get a little facelift. This one said, “I want the whole package.” 😂🏠

New roof? Check. Siding? Check. Window replacements? Check. Custom decks? Oh, we went there. 🔥

13 seconds of before, during, and after from this exterior renovation in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

And that waterfront deck? Good luck getting us to leave. 🌊😂

I just know he wakes up every morning and prays I’m finally out of home renovation ideas. 😂🛠️

Husband and wife construction business life… we’ll figure it out. We always do. by @ellyfilho_
