The perfect way to start the day if you ask me! by @elysia_yuen

Miia’s been asking to get her nails done for the longest time. I finally gave in to celebrate her 9th Birthday.

It wasn’t easy finding a salon that was suitable for young ones but after some research I found @blushandblowlondon who offer a bambino manicure and pedicure using non-toxic polishes and fun nail stickers.

Billie our nail tech was amazing and had the patience of a Saint looking after 4 very excited girls!

Nothing was too much, the girls had access to biscoff biscuits on tap as well as a choice of hot chocolate and elderflower cordial with still or sparkling water.

How is my baby 9 😭😭😭

Be a Lion(ess).

It’s not where you are running from… but where are you running to?

Always move forward with purpose and direction.

I had the opportunity to attend an amazing session with @stjohn_ambulance in collaboration with @boobydoobras for their ‘It’s Okay to Save my Life’ campaign.

I never really considered what would happen if I went into cardiac arrest or if somebody around me were to do so.

Chris and the team delivered life-saving information that we were able to use practically.

Delivering compressions at a rate of 100-120 per minute is a serious workout, and doing this until emergency services arrive would take some stamina!

We also had the chance to use a defibrillator which sends an electrical current through the body to try to reset the heart. Thankfully it’s reassuring to know that there is an inbuilt system that recognises if an electric shock is required or not so you can’t really electrocute someone by accident 🥹

Defibrillators can be found commonly nowadays on busy roads, hotels, public places and shops. The pads work on bare skin so you’d have to remove all clothing, including bras.

Nearly 1/3 of the British public would not give a woman CPR compared to a man in public because they’d feel uncomfortable getting a stranger’s boobs out.

I just wanted to let you know that it’s okay to save my life even if you have to strip me half naked…

It’s also okay if you break some of my ribs or cause other injuries, I’d rather that than be dead dead.

After the educational piece we hit the road for a run of course to put the CPR bra through its paces.

What a wholesome day with wonderful human beings.

Shout out to @acrepalm for the invite - you know you’re training in safe hands alongside friends @445 and @gymbusy ❤️‍🔥🙌👊
