Hello & welcome to my new page ✨ In September 2021 my son (now 6) was diagnoised with B Cell acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia. We are 9 months into treatment with 20 more months to go. The journey is mentally exhausting & lots of time is spent in hospital. I have always loved embroidery but with work, 2 children & life admin I did not have time. I would occassionally make friends gifts. With time on my hands & the constant worry, this is my therapy. I am currently donating all profits from my embroidery to help @lucymellonjameson, our journey different but following a similar traumatic path. I met Lucy on my very first day on the oncology ward, we had just recieved news no parent shouldnt, yet all of us on this ward are connected with the same horror. Lucy approached me & I will always remember this & her kindness. Once this becomes part of your life, you just know. Months later I came across her profile & we have spoke & supported each other ever since. Her son Jude has High Risk Neuroblastoma, he needs to raise Β£250,000 to continue his treatment in the US once his frontline treatment on the NHS has finished. No one deserves this journey, but theirs is made all that more difficult with the task of fundraising such a grand amount. I just know I would move mountains to raise this for my little boy if needed (just as β€˜For Jude’) & would want the whole world of support behind me, so it comes naturally to want to help this amazing family. Thats why all my profits initially will be going towards Judes fund πŸ–€πŸͺ‘ UPDATE 07.08.22 Thankyou to all those who have placed orders or followed my new little page. I have now raised Β£500 and any order placed prior to this date, 100% of this has contributed to Judes fundraising. Whilst ever orders are being placed I want to continue supporting causes close to my heart as this gives this whole thing a meaning to me. Hand embroidery takes hours per order therefore it is completed out of a love. by @embroider_that_fabric
