This past weekend, our troupe performed in Silver Foxes 2026: The Eras Tour! Which celebrated aerial and circus artists aged 45 and up who turn decades — personal and cultural — into circus art. Thank you to @versatilearts for inviting us to perform, as well as everyone who showed up, cheered loud, and jailhouse rocked with us! 🎸 Huge shoutout to @catching.flight.dreams & @cornicellophoto for the stellar photos. More photos coming soon! 📸 #circus #circusarts #acro #groupacrobatics #acrobatics by @emeraldcityacrotroupe

From jaw-dropping acts to laugh-out-loud moments, we forged a brave resistance against late summer ennui! Artist Highlight: The Group and Banquine Acrobatics Collective (GABA) @seattlegaba Performing Group Acrobatics for Sans Solos Deux! | Circus Etc. Cabaret on Saturday, August 16th! Join us this weekend for an incredible show! The group acrobatics collective begin at ECTA 2 years ago when Jeff Tretheway and Terry Crane got inspired to figure out how to yeet people as high as possible. Since then, members have dedicated themselves to learning swing toss, three highs, banquine, Russian bar, teeterboard, pitching, and all forms of acrobatics that involve three or more bodies. This piece’s choreographer Raymi Diskant has been doing circus for over 20 years and when asked, “why Gaba?”, he answered, “because two high is not high enough.” Why should people attend the show? “Where else would audiences be able to see the barbarian hordes play red rover in an elegant collision of danger, chalk and grit?” Hurry! GA Seated and Balcony Tickets are selling out fast! #linkinbio Photo Credit: @cornicellophoto #seattle #seattleartists #acro #acrobats #acrobatics #circus #circusartist #show #seattleshow by @emeraldcityacrotroupe

Efficiency never enters my vocabulary 😜 I was thinking about how deeply human it is to want to do some nonsense and for other humans to be like, “yo, I want IN on this nonsense!” Thanks @emeraldcityacrotroupe for being such a good container for whimsy. Shoutout to all the bases who jumped in to get hit in the face by my toe rope (@joyfuldanc3r @acro_lars dont think I have the other’s instas) and big thanks to Paul who came in, saw what we were doing and immediately gave us a rainbow tutu and wig. Very necessary to the creative process 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ Paul: ”what’s the biggest difference between circus people and everyone else? Everyone else is trying to make things easier.” #trickrope #acro #lasso by @emeraldcityacrotroupe
