POSTS STORIES REELS

Until The Lights Go Out - Elliana Rose 🏎️🏁🤧

4,75/5

First of all, thank you to the author for the ARC 🫶

I absolutely loved diving back into the world of the Sparks Fly saga and even more so reconnecting with its characters 🤭

The world of Formula 1 is once again well portrayed, and I really enjoyed that Maisey was so involved in the sport. Whether it was competing with Theo as a child or later as an adult with her new job. Even if it’s fiction, it’s refreshing to see female representation in motorsport 🤧🤧

And Theo, what can I say? He really broke my heart; you can clearly see that the events of the past left their mark on him. I’m so glad his brother was there for him ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

I loved my reading so much, and even more the character of Maisey, who made me cry at times 🤧🤧🤧

P.S.: I loved seeing Nicola again 🥹🥹🥹

If you’re still hesitating to start this series, go for it with your eyes closed you won’t regret it !! 🫂🫂🏎️🏁

The Marked Society - Aurore Payelle 💚

4,75/5

The Defender - Ana Huang 🩵⚽️

4/5

I can’t remember my rating for The Striker (Book 1), but in any case, I enjoyed this one more than Asher and Scarlett’s story.

I felt like Vincent and Brooklyn had a better relationship; it was more developed, along with the complexities of their characters, unlike the first couple where I thought we only scratched the surface.

And for once, the spicy part didn’t come too early. I think it happened at just the right moment in the novel, which made their relationship not solely focused on that.

Overall, it was a good novel, even if the football aspect isn’t very prominent in my opinion (the subplot takes up more space than the football itself, in my view).

In any case, I’m still excited to read The Keeper, which seems intriguing given how little interaction the protagonists have in Book 2. To be continued!!

The World between us - Madleen Sarah 🇬🇧🎸💘

4,75/5

This book had been on my TBR for a long time, and I absolutely don’t regret reading it 🤭

I really liked the setting, the side characters, and of course the two main protagonists!! It was cute, light-hearted, and quick to read!

The characters’ psychology was well developed, especially Ethan 😩😩
I loved Grace and the relationship she has with her best friend too ❤️‍🩹

Their romance might have developed a bit too quickly for my taste, but that’s probably because I’m used to reading longer novels :)

To sum up, I had a wonderful time reading this book and I highly recommend it 🫶

Rewind it back - Liz Tomforde ❤️🎧

❤️/5

I thought no book in the series could surpass The Right Move, but I was wrong.

Rewind It Back is a mix of nostalgia, cute moments, music, reunions, but also pain…

Unlike the previous books in the series, I found that in this one the love story was much more developed, as well as the characters’ psychology. I loved the flashback chapters intertwined with the present; while we followed present-day Hallie and Rio, the chapters about their youth also helped to understand the breaking point between the two ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

The plot twist was pretty predictable, but that wasn’t what interested me most in this book.

There had never been any mention of Hallie in the previous books (just like the group members who also had zero information about her), and yet I immediately loved her character. Some chapters even broke my heart, both for her and for Rio 🤧

And Rio, what can I say? From the very start of the series, I’ve always seen him as a green flag, and he stayed that way until the end despite all the misunderstandings. They hadn’t seen each other for six years, and yet it felt as if they had never truly broken up 😩

Plus, I also loved seeing the other group members again, even if they appear a bit less in this volume 🫂🫂

A perfect ending for this incredible saga (which I will definitely reread 🤭), sad to leave them but also excited to discover the spin-off In Her Own League 💘💘

Spearcrest Legacy: The Bargain - Aurora Reed 🦋

❤️/5

Many thanks to the author for sending me this ARC 🫶

This was the first time I read one of the author’s books (I stumbled across an Instagram post that immediately made me want to read it). I loved the author’s writing style as well as the world she created 🤭

Desdemona has everything—money, power, and a loving family—which is not the case for Elias. She appears cold, excels in every subject, with a future already mapped out, but her little deal with Elias will change everything 👀👀

Elias wants to reach the top, so when Desdemona makes him an offer, he sees it as a chance to mingle with the elite and achieve his goals, even if it means accepting the unthinkable 😩

Even before reading it, this book had everything I love, from the tropes mentioned to the synopsis, and the first pages confirmed it. I adored watching them deny their feelings, seeing the found family form with Desdemona’s family and her group of friends 🫂🫂

The ending truly moved me, and it was the perfect ending in my opinion!! I can’t wait to read the author’s next books 🫶

(I hope there’s a book planned for Ophelia ❤️‍🩹)

Special mention to Sophie, the mother of our FMC, who is just incredible 💘

Don’t Forget Me - Sherlyn Cervantes ❤️‍🔥 (arc review)

❤️/5

I was supposed to take my time to savor this book as much as possible, but it was simply impossible. I read it in less than 24 hours 😩. From the very first pages, I couldn’t put my Kindle down or stop reading, I knew right away this book would be an absolute favorite.

I loved the tropes in this book, whether it was the yearning or the second-chance trope, everything was so well done.

The relationship between the two protagonists isn’t perfect; it has its strengths and flaws, and that’s what makes it even more beautiful. Five years without any contact, and yet their love remains intact, as if it had never disappeared ❤️‍🩹.

Lysandra and Ezra come from two different worlds, and yet they complement each other so well 🫂. I won’t say more to avoid spoiling anyone’s reading experience 👀.

The friendship with Camille also adds something special to the novel. I loved her character and can’t wait to discover her story in turn 🫂.

Congratulations to the author for this incredible book—I can’t wait to read the next ones 🫶.

If you’re still hesitating to pre-order the book, go for it with your eyes closed 🤭

Professionally yours - Kayla Ashlyn 💜

Thanks to the author for the ARC 🫶

It took me a few days to finish this book due to a lack of time, unfortunately 😔

I had a great time with Bailey and Noah, our two protagonists in this story. The romance is cute and lighthearted, featuring the small-town trope that I really enjoy 🤭

I also liked the secondary characters (especially Noah’s family). Not to forget Noah’s character, who is a real green flag. I’m totally obsessed with him 😩😩

I just found that the romance moved a bit quickly between the two, and maybe there were too many spicy scenes for my taste, which sometimes pulled me out of the reading. Despite that, I still enjoyed the author’s writing style 💘

Came Here for Love by Cassandra Diviak 💜🎬

4/5

First of all, thank you to the author for the ARC 🫶

This is the first time I’ve read a romance with this kind of reality TV vibe, a bit like Love Island, and I really enjoyed it.

The main characters were amazing, I had such a great time with them, even if I have to admit I wouldn’t have said no to a few more pages at the end 🫣🫣
