just another day in pr and marketing by @emilyreaganpr

It’s happening 🌽 Meet me in Omaha!!!

Nov 11-12, I’m speaking at the @meganhaleco’s Dream Bigger Summit …. and I want you in the room.

🎤 My session: The Solo CEO’s Guide to Getting Help Without Wasting Time or Money

If you’re a solo CEO who knows you need help but keeps getting burned on hires, freelancers, or “shiny object” tools... this one’s for you.

Plus keynotes, a finance panel with JPMorganChase, and Day 2 spent actually planning your 2027 vision (not just journaling about it).

It’s the room. The people who get it, sitting next to you, who turn into your next collaborator, referral, or the friend who talks you off a ledge at 11pm…. And me!

After 15 years freelancing and sourcing over 3,000 client projects, I’ve tracked the 26 marketing services that are in highest demand — the ones that actually get you booked out and paid what you’re worth.

Master 1-3 these, and you’ll stop competing on price and start owning your space as a specialist with a steady pipeline of high-value clients.

💫DM me “List1” and I’ll send you the full breakdown so you can pick your niche, sharpen your skills, and finally get booked out with work you love.

Cheering you on! Emily

Client’s content strategy for the month: done. Protein: met. Pickup: next. by @emilyreaganpr

I pitch podcasts and press for my clients, and the wins are the best part of my week. by @emilyreaganpr

A pitch that gets a yes answers what an editor is already asking: why this, why this audience, why right now. That’s PR basics, and it’s the part AI skips.

Comment PODCAST1 and I’ll send you the latest episode of The Marketing Freelancer where at @brennamcgowanco and I dissected her pitch for the Amy Porterfield show.

PS I do this work too. If you need help with your pitches, send me a DM and we’ll talk about my VIP day that will get your pitch kit and your press page done.✅ by @emilyreaganpr

Leave the fangirl energy behind🙅‍♀️

I helped @brennamcgowanco write her pitch to Amy Porterfield’s podcast, and the biggest shift I had her make was going in as a peer instead of a fan.

Think about it from the host’s side!!

Fangirl energy reads a little desperate, and it quietly undermines your authority and credibility.

Brenna knows that better than anyone. As a pre-launch strategist, building authority and credibility before the cart opens is exactly what she does for her clients, so she got it instantly.

The peer approach worked. Brenna landed the spot, and Amy’s team moved her up in a six-month queue so she could record sooner.

She sent me her pitch for Amy Porterfield’s podcast. I told her I was boring 🤣

Not because @brennamcgowanco can’t write …she’s a great copywriter. She’s an expert launch strategist and copywriter!! She’s got her clients big results and created her own methods and IP.

She put in YEARS of work to earn that pitch so it would’ve just been a shame to see it buried in a pile of boring forgettable podcast pitches to the biggest show in our industry.

Luckily, she has a friend who knows PR

Pitching is a different kind of writing bombarded and most pitches start the exact same way comment “podcast1” and I’ll send you the full episode in your DM so you can do better.

Or you can just google the Marketing Freelancer and find our episode🙌
