THE BIGGEST E YOU’VE EVER SEEN!!

Top 4 💫

Big shout out to everyone I exchanged with, @_fantaye for the calls, @ya.boii.son for the energy, and @officialgrim97 for the beats! 🤸

I have so many thoughts after this event, especially as I reflect on being in this post-hiatus stage of my dance journey.

I started dancing when I was 3.5, so this year marks exactly 20 years of dancing. 2024 and 2025 were the least I had ever danced since I started, and coming back this past June has been such a meaningful (and challenging) process. I’m continuing to explore who I am in this stage of my life, and what that means for my dance.

I’m incredibly proud to represent female poppers in Texas, female jookers in Texas, and, above all, to simply take up space in these rooms.

I’m SO grateful for all the love and support from the new people who have come into my circle, as well as those who have known me for years and years and have continued to show up for me through every chapter.

Here’s to coming back to myself, one solo at a time 🤍 by @emmalee_a

🚨NEW CLASS ALERT🚨

STARTING JULY 3RD - Popping w/ @emmalee_a every Friday @ 5PM💎

Emma is a multidisciplinary artist and dancer who spent over 13 years building her technique in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. In 2016, she shifted her focus to commercial hip hop, where she first gained exposure to street dance techniques. During this period, she trained with various industry leaders, acquired specialized freestyle mentorship in Popping and Memphis Jookin, and performed with HQ’s competitive youth teams (INC, Sleepwalkers, and The Alliance).

Emma has received advanced training in Popping, Hip Hop, and Memphis Jookin while gaining secondary exposure to a variety of street styles over the years, including Animation, House, Strutting, and Locking. Her class will be open to all levels, whether they are exploring popping for the first time or refining their technique. What excites Emma most about teaching—and dance as a whole—is the opportunity for personal growth, artistic discovery, community building, and contributing to the preservation of street dance in Dallas.

Always a pleasure to be in class with @kayleenicole___ ! 💫🤍

It’s been so long since I’ve done anything outside the realm of hip-hop foundations, and it was so much fun to see what muscle memory has stuck after all these years. Grateful to be home and for the opportunity to dance alongside peers who have watched me grow and evolve over the past 10 years or so. by @emmalee_a
