POSTS STORIES REELS

If you struggle with anxiety, I highly recommend this devotional. It is practical, encouraging, biblical, and points you to the greatest comfort for anxious minds and hearts...Christ. 💕 It's a 31 day devotional, but I read it through more slowly and that worked just as well. Each chapter is only two pages, so they are very easy reads for each day. There are other devotionals in this series that I've heard are just as good, and I am currently reading another one, so you'll see a post for that pop up at some point too.

A belated review from earlier this year that I never posted:

⭐️ 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 ⭐️

Aw, this story was so cute and cozy (and very clean - some non-detailed kisses only)! If you are a cat lover, you will enjoy this retelling of The Frog Prince...but with a cat instead of a frog. The story was a second chance romance, with a super secret main couple...Nathaniel was especially such a sweet MMC. What I like about this series is that all of the books (this is the third I've read now) are all very easy, quick reads that don't take much brain power, but are simple and delightful. 🥰

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator did a fantastic job. It was engaging, and was such a lovely story to listen to while while working on some crafts and putting some laundry away, and it was super easy to pay full attention (for me at least!) while I was doing these things. Out of the books in this series that I have read, one of them was an ebook, and the other two were audiobooks...and I honestly enjoy them even better as audiobooks.

I feel like this book was setting up some more stories, so I can't wait to see more from Gabrielle Landi! 😊

I received an ALC copy of this audiobook. All opinions in this review are my own and voluntary.

In the end of April at the local comic con I went to, I had the very exciting opportunity and got to meet my favorite Star Wars author Timothy Zahn! It was so exciting, because I've read so many of his books and got to tell him how much I love Thrawn and Mara Jade. And of course I had to get my third copy of Heir to the Empire, signed by him! 😄✨️

Have you read any of Zahn's books before?

Okay, I will start sharing reviews of some of the books I've read lately soon, as well as some posts about some awesome Kickstarter books I've received, but first I have to introduce you to this amazing company. 😊

I discovered @whimsical.publishing at comic con local to me, and I was instantly in love with the art on their special editions. 😍 And THEN I discovered that they sell clean books and are Christian owned, which made it even more amazing. I had a great chat with the owners daughter and her husband, they were so friendly and helpful. I was on a budget and couldn't get veey many books from them at the time, but I will definitely be buying more in the future.

I highly recommend you check them out! 😄

Oh my goodness, this was so cute! I will admit, I've never been interested in reading a wolf shifter book before, but I'm really glad that I gave this a try because I loved it. This is the second book I've read in this series, and I am definitely going to be going back and reading all of the other ones, because I think this is now one of my new series. Prokopovits's writing style is so cozy, engaging, and charming, and with both books I've read of hers I was drawn in immediately.

Kane was such a sweet MMC, and Emma's trust issues were so relatable to me...haha! I loved all of the characters in this book, and was so happy when our main couple got their happily ever after. The romance was super clean, and also had many butterflies-in-your-stomach moments.

If you love Regency, feel good fairytales, a hint of magic, and sweet romance...this series is definitely for you!

Thank you to the author for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and voluntary. 😊

Content: clean romance, kisses only (mildly described), thoughts of wanting to kiss/cuddle, very mild violence once

Another review from December that I'm posting belatedly:

Okay, I just finished reading this and the last 20% of the book was filled with so many butterfly inducing moments. It was so sweet, and very clean! 🥰

I loved the faith elements in this book, which were not overly preachy, but they were consistently there through the book - themes of trusting God, even when the worst happens. And of course I loved all of the Pride and Prejudice references (and in the author's note at the end it was fun to discover what inspired this story too).

It did take me a while to get into this book, but it didn't take long before it reslly captured my attention. So many of the characters were so sweet and cute...even if they didn't start that way. 😉

The only thing I didn't like as much was a big part of the plot including assumptions/miscommunication/lack of communication, but it wasn't enough to deter me from enjoying the rest of the book.

Overall, if you're a Jane Austen loving bookworm looking for a quick, light read, with a clean romance that'll give you butterflies...definitely give this one a try! 😊

I received a free ARC copy of this book through NetGalley. All opinions in this review are my own and voluntary.

Content considerations: clean romance, kissing (not detailed), mentions of infidelity/cheating, mentions of death (a pregnant woman)

I've gotten so behind on posting here the last few months, but I'm finally back with a review from last month. 😊

If you know me, you know I love Beauty and the Beast! This retelling was very different from the others I have read. It had elements of BATB, but did it's own thing as well. The romance was so sweet (a bit insta-love, definitely NO slow burn here) and so were the characters. The world that this series is set in is so cozy and cute. The story was very fast paced, and was very easy to get into for me.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narrator was really enjoyable to me. I feel like I actually enjoyed this book even a bit more as an audiobook than I would have reading the actual book - it was just so enjoyable this way.

Thank you so much to Gabrielle Landi for the ALC of this book. All opinions in this review are voluntary and my own. 😊

Content: clean romance - a few non-detailed kisses, a woman sits on her husband's bed and one time falls asleep sitting up in the bed (but there is absolutely nothing sexual that happens, it is very clean)

Yet another great Christmas novella in this Letters to Mrs Claus series. I loved the immediate banter between these two main characters - it was a fun change to have both characters be very extroverted. The romance was cute (very fast paced and insta-love, no slow burn here!), but what I really appreciated was how the author managed to fit quite a bit of character growth/healing into such a short amount of pages. Seeing both characters learn to like Christmas again was fun.

Thank you to @madelynsmithauthor for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions in this review are voluntary and my own. 😊

Content: clean, kisses only (non-descriptive), talking about wanting to kiss, light cuddling and hand holding, a woman says a man wasn't willing to 'wait until marriage'

Okay, I have realized and have to admit that I'm a sucker for epistolary novels (or in this case novella). I always love them...and this was no exception. Because of it's short length, it was a very quick read, and one that I know I will read again. The setting was lovely, the characters were sweet, and the romance was so cute and I definitely got a few butterflies...and it was exceedingly clean! The magic system was very interesting (though it was pretty light on the magic aspect), and it made me want to read the other books by this author set in the same magical Regency setting (which I have already read one of and absolutely loved it as well).

Thank you so much to @elizaprokopovits for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions in this review are voluntary and my own. 😊

I learned that I'm a sucker for nice book edges. 📚😂

But seriously, they were too nice to pass up! I didn't have a copy of Princess Bride yet, I've been looking for a copy of Frankenstein with a cover I actually like, and even though I'm Canadian...the Hamilton fan in me couldn't pass up on the last book, haha. 📚

The Christmas book mug was perfect because I had JUST mentioned that I didn't have enough Christmas mugs for myself. And the book bag was a free bonus because I spent enough. 😁

⭐️ 4.5 stars ⭐️

Aw, this story was so sweet! All three of the main characters were very cute and likeable, and the writing combined with the short novella length made this a really quick, easy, and enjoyable read. The romance was very clean and sweet, and was still butterfly inducing when it was resolved. I really related to Flo's frustrations with classroom management as dance teacher who also works with kids in a classroom setting, so that part made me laugh. 😂 I think this has been my favorite of the Letters to Mrs Claus series of the ones I've read so far!

The only complaint I really had is that I wish I could've gotten to see even more of the characters, even though I do love that the shortness makes it such an easy Christmas read, haha. I just really loved this one. 😄

Thank you so much to the author and publisher for the ARC copy of this book. All opinions in this review are voluntary and my own. 😊

Content: super clean romance, a few kisses only (not detailed)
