POSTS STORIES REELS

Been going within to fine tune my passion work so that I can laser focus on only doing the things I am great at and love to do. My favorite thing of all time is harmonizing geometries in architecture, innovative design solutions that convey beauty and awe.

I don’t consider my masterwork to be as an architect or interior designer, instead, I consider my talent to be in the creation of special moments within them that elevate the overall feeling of the space. I trust my visions because they feel like im co-creating with something higher than myself, they flow through me.

In this next chapter I hope I can serve and inspire more by being involved in purposeful projects with world class design. ♥️ thank you for reading me, love you. by @emmanuelle____

When I transformed the intention behind my business from being about me to being about others, I began to enjoy my everyday so much more. It gave me a sense of purpose… a life that feels like a game. I believe the ego is necessary to a certain degree, but when we only focus on being better than others it robs us of our joy. I have experienced the purest sense of joy through my alliances, nothing compares to wining (or learning) together. My heart explodes of gratefulness for all the wonderful collaborations I am a part of today. Here is a compilation of a few of the creations that have already flourished onto this earth.

I keep fine tuning my mission, as a designer and a creator, I have a north star. Thank you for reading my journey ♥️

Happy Halloween from the Lumi fam! by @emmanuelle____

Every time you keep a promise to yourself, you’re strengthening your relationship with yourself. 🤍 I’ve noticed lately how much confidence comes from simply doing what you said you were going to do.

These past few days were full of little reminders of that. Celebrating Luca’s birthday and bringing the first Lumi Inspire gathering to life. Two very different experiences, both created with love and intention.

Not everything has to be perfect. Not everything has to be figured out before we begin. Sometimes we just need to take that next little step, show up, do our best, and surrender the rest.

One little promise at a time. 🫀 by @emmanuelle____

The process is my favorite and the most magical part of any transformation…slowly watching something come to life, step by step…

Sienna’s room was due for a little upgrade. Her old room didn’t feel like her anymore, this sparkly, colorful, creative, magical little human she’s becoming. 🌸

So this week, with A LOTTT of effort 😂, I tried to create something that felt truer to her, while still feeling like a space that inspired me too. Mostly, I just wanted to make something magical for her… and her reaction 😭🥹 AWE in its purest form. Which is very satisfying when you manage to surprise little Miss Know-It-All. by @emmanuelle____

HELP US FIND THE ART FOR CASA AKARI

Casa Akari was created as a living canvas and now we want to invite our community to become part of its story.

There is one wall behind the bed in the guest bedroom waiting for the right piece. Maybe you’re an artist with work that feels meant for this space. Maybe you know an artist whose work belongs here. Or maybe you’ve simply discovered a piece that made you think of Casa Akari.

The person whose submission leads us to the artwork we select will receive their choice of a one-night stay or a three-hour production shoot at Casa Akari. 🤍

To participate:

✨ Tag the artist in the comments
✨ Share this post to your Stories and tag us
✨ DM us the artwork, its dimensions, the artist’s information and a little about why you feel it belongs in the home

We’ll share some of the artists and pieces we discover along the way. Once the artwork is selected, we’ll connect directly with the artist to discuss the collaboration and display details.

We can’t wait to see what you share and continue creating Casa Akari together. by @emmanuelle____

There is something so special about standing inside a space that once only existed in your imagination.

When we first found this home, it felt dark and forgotten, but I could already see the light waiting within it. The process of creating Casa Akari became an invitation to trust: to move slowly, to listen to the home, and to allow the vision to reveal itself one step at a time.

Akari means light, a moment of illumination. And thats what this home has been for me… a journey from darkness into light, both within the space and within myself.

Today, standing here and seeing it alive, I feel so grateful for every person, decision, challenge and moment of trust that brought us here.

Welcome to Casa Akari ❤️ by @emmanuelle____

Favorites from the summer of my dreams and some reds intertwined 🍒 by @emmanuelle____

Welcome to Casa Akari ✨

Akari means light or illumination, a name that holds both the spirit of this home and the journey of creating her.

Once dark and ready for renewal, she is now filled with light, warmth and a quiet sense of strength. Large picture windows frame the surrounding greenery, while vaulted wood ceilings, textured walls, stone, linen and earthy finishes create a space that feels grounded, peaceful and whole.

Casa Akari doesn’t ask loudly for your attention. Her beauty lives in the light, the craftsmanship, the natural materials and the thoughtful details revealed slowly throughout the space.

A home created to inspire, gather and bring us closer to nature.

Casa Akari is now open for productions, intimate gatherings and select stays.

This summer, we stayed in a space that felt so deeply Lumi, completely integrated with the nature around it. I felt inspired, expanded, and filled with possibility.

It reminded me why I create spaces with such a deep connection to nature…so that everyone who steps into a Lumi home can experience a little of that same bliss. by @emmanuelle____

For our newest Lumi house, we went ceramic hunting through Córdoba 🇪🇸 in what felt like the capital of artesanía.

We were searching for soulful, handmade pieces and found the most beautiful artisans along the way.

This country offered us endless inspiration…its spaces, its textures, and the people devoted to creating with their hands. 😭

Every Lumi home is shaped by the stories and objects we collect along the way, and soon, a little piece of Córdoba’s soul will live in our newest one. ✨ by @emmanuelle____
