hi friends!! 🫶 just wanted to catch up with my current reads and talk to you all to see how we’re doing

so right now i’m kind of reading a bit of everything lol

i have 3 ARCs (swipe bite; you, me and conspiracy; til quest do us part) i’m reading and a romcom (how to kill a guy in ten dates) all of which are going pretty good :)

today i read a bit of bird by bird to really focus on my writing craft and i also started red rising which i am LOVING.

what about you all? what are you reading/listening to? by @emmasbookfair

for my next trick i’ll emerge from the bookstore i was hiding in 📚 by @emmasbookfair

I’m very excited to share my #agentsguide to Knife in Her Hand for #joypit!

Here’s a bit about the book:

In the winter of 1925, dissatisfied wife Dove reluctantly accompanies her controlling husband on a road trip to visit her estranged sister. After a car accident strands them in the Pennsylvania wilderness, they seek refuge in an isolated manor home to the Faraday family who welcomes them unsettling warmth. Edith, the matriarch’s daughter, takes kindly to Dove, but even her hospitality begins to rot as the family reveals their true intentions…

Complete at 81k words, Knife in Her Hand is an adult gothic horror with romantic elements told in epistolary form. The book explores abuse, alcoholism, and toxic sibling relationships through the lens of woman’s rage.

the event was packed & ran super late so i couldn’t get a chance to actually meet them but hearing the two of them speak was literally the coolest experience ever and i’m very grateful i got to go :) by @emmasbookfair

hii bookies! 🫶

this is a bit of a different post from me but if y’all have been following me for a minute, you know i love to write and consider myself an author!

well here’s another mood board from knife in her hand, my fully finished novel! the vibes are gothic, unsettling, picture dangerous women getting retribution…

i’m currently two weeks into querying and it’s such a nerve wracking process omg but i have hope! especially because this book is incredibly important to me and i poured so much into it.

but such is life and even if nothing comes from this, i am so happy to have done it!!

if anyone is querying, or revising, or drafting, my thoughts are with you and i’m rooting for you 🫶 by @emmasbookfair
