What makes an Argentine empanada different? 🇦🇷

It's more than just the filling.

It's the handmade dough, the family recipes, the regional traditions, and the love that goes into every fold.

At Bochas, we bring a little piece of Argentina to New York-one empanada at a time.

Which flavor would you try first? 🥟👇🏼♥️

This is what real empanadas from Argentina are supposed to look like. Each different filling gets a different repulgue. Repulgue means a way to close the empanada. My mom approves and so do I!!!

Hi! I’m Natalia, the chef and founder behind Empanadas Bochas 👋🥟

Bochas started with me making empanadas for friends and people I knew. Little by little, I decided to take the next step and turn something I loved doing into a business.

Some of my first pop-ups were nothing more than a table, a handmade sign, and friends willing to help. ❤️
I’m Argentine, living in New York, and a big part of what I cook comes from home. Many of our recipes are inspired by the food I grew up with recipes and flavors from my grandmother, my uncles, and a family where cooking has always brought everyone together. 🇦🇷

Today, Bochas has grown from those first empanadas for friends to pop-ups, breweries, events, and so many new people discovering our food. And we’re still growing, learning, and dreaming bigger every day.

Every empanada is handmade with a little piece of Argentina and a lot of love. ♥️

Thank you to everyone who has supported Bochas, tried an empanada, recommended us, followed us, or stopped by one of our pop-ups. You’re part of this story too. ❤️
