another exceptional journey through NOLA mardi gras with some of my faves— several not pictured. new orleans will forever be my home away from home and for my 6th NOLA mardi gras i got to show a first timer around and he is basically a pro now.
45 miles walked, countless beads caught and the perfectly crafted costume in honor of the queen. to those who celebrate, happy mardi gras— time to LENT. ⚜️ by @empressive13

mardi gras #5 and my first carnival as a guest. overall successful— wrecked a bike and ended up with a busted lip but i wouldn’t change a thing. 🤪

grateful for all of the familiar run ins and for everyone who acted as a host, provided an airport shuttle and offered up a parade route bathroom this year. happy mardi gras. 💜 ⚜️ by @empressive13
