Cold water and sound. Two of the oldest tools for calming the body, stacked into one session.

The cold is the stressor. At 50°, your body sounds the alarm and your breath wants to take over. That’s where the sound comes in. A steady, resonant tone gives your mind something to hold onto, slows the breath, and pulls you back into the moment.

What the research says:

❄️ A 2025 review of 11 studies found cold water immersion lowered stress for up to 12 hours afterward, with gains in sleep quality and quality of life

❄️ Water between 10 and 15°C (50 to 59°F) is the range most studied

🔔 Sound meditation studies show real drops in tension, anxiety, and fatigue, and first timers often feel it the most.

That’s what EMRJ provides. Peace through stress.

The Inaugural 5K & Paddle Board Outing Benefitting @savethemanateeclub was one for the books.

From the St. Pete Crew - Thank you to the Tampa Bay community and our partners for showing out to support a cause directly impacting our waters we call home. Together we raised just under $30,000 🤯 to help the efforts this great group puts forth. Who is ready to run it back?

Thank you to the volunteers who assisted with the amazing day as well.

#FloatTheBeatStPete Ep4 is this weekend, RSVP and find the full details at on Strava or SweatPals, message us if you need a board.

we’re still thinking about saturday 🌴

muse on the mat x @compoundboardshop was everything we could have ever asked for — a 45 min lagree inspired mat class, followed by sauna, cold plunge, acai, coffee, matcha, pottery, and raffles ✨

we’re so grateful to everyone who came out and to our amazing partners, especially compound boardshop, for helping us bring this together. we love creating moments like this that bring our community and local businesses together for movement, connection, and a little fun 🤍
