These pictures feel incredibly vulnerable to share. These scars are from three surgeries in the last three years, but when I look at them, I don’t just see marks on my body. I see my story. This body carried and gave birth to my beautiful child. It stretched, changed, created life, and then continued fighting through years of chronic illness, excruciating pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, surgeries, infertility, grief, trauma, and moments when I truly didn’t know how much more I could endure. And now, after my most recent excision surgery and hysterectomy, I’m learning how to embrace this new version of my body. A body that looks different. A body that carries scars. A body that has been through more than I could ever fully put into words. But also a body that is still here. ❤️‍🩹

These scars are not imperfections I need to hide. They are evidence of a war I fought and by the grace of Jesus Christ survived. They remind me of every prayer whispered through tears, every moment I begged God to help me, and every time He did. This is your reminder to my beautiful warriors out there, to be proud of your scars! Be proud of your stretch marks. Be proud of the places your body changed because you lived, carried life, fought illness, survived heartbreak, underwent surgery, or simply made it through something you thought might break you. Your body does not have to be untouched to be beautiful. There is something sacred about a body that shows the evidence of having lived. I will never have the body I had before all of this, and I don’t want to spend my life mourning it. I want to honor the body God brought me into today. These scars hold pain, sacrifice, motherhood, loss, healing, survival, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness. They are part of me. And I am finally learning to look at them and say, this is what living looks like. And what a beautiful gift it is to still be here to tell my story, in hopes of helping other women. I pray my testimony can touch others’ lives and glorify my King Jesus. 💛🎗️🙌🏽🌼

I know I have a long recovery ahead of me, as this was a more severe and complicated case of endo, but thanks to the best team of endometriosis specialists and the multidisciplinary care that I will continue to receive, my quality of life will only continue to improve!! 🥹🙌🏽🎗️

There is so much of this journey that no one ever sees.

They don’t see the nights spent crying after everyone has gone to sleep. The moments curled up in pain, wondering how much more your body can endure. The exhaustion that sleep never fixes. The symptoms that can no longer be tamed. The fear that settles in when your own body no longer feels like a safe place to live.

They don’t see the countless doctor appointments, emergency room visits, scans, medications, surgeries, or the years spent desperately searching for answers while your health continues to decline. They don’t see what it feels like to constantly advocate for yourself, only to be dismissed over and over again.

Most of my twenties have been spent surviving. Battling endometriosis, adenomyosis, my mental health, secondary infertility, and the grief that comes with it all.

Fighting for answers. Fighting to be believed. Fighting to keep hope alive as my body slowly stopped functioning the way it once did.

There have been days when I wasn’t sure how I could possibly keep going. Days when the pain consumed every part of me. Days when my body and mind became so exhausted from surviving that I genuinely questioned whether I had anything left to give.

This is the reality of chronic illness.

It doesn’t just steal your health. It steals your independence, your dreams, your finances, your relationships, your identity, and so many moments you’ll never get back.

Yet somehow, you wake up and fight again.

Not because you’re fearless. Not because you’re okay. But because there’s still a small part of you that refuses to give up.

I am literally fighting for my life every single day.

This is chronic illness.

This is endometriosis.

If you’re silently carrying a battle that no one else can see, I hope you know you’re not alone. I see you. I believe you. Your pain is real, your story matters, and your life has incredible value.

Keep holding on my sweet friends. I stand with you fighting this battle too. 🥺💛🎗️

Hello beautiful loves. I’ve been trying to figure out how to put into words how I’m feeling without sounding like a nut job, but I’ve made peace with the fact that I probably will sound completely crazy to most people. This world has felt extremely different and heavier for a while, but now more than ever, spiritually I feel that there has been a shift. I know that aside from being a believer in Jesus, that many others who may not be of the faith feel it too. I wholeheartedly believe that we are in the end times. That we will witness things no other generation ever has. I try not to let myself fear, I know that the best preparation I can do for my family is to be right with The Lord - To be in continual prayer, in our Bible, and in fellowship with one another. Above all our personal relationship with Jesus is what is most important, what will save us. I feel deeply in my spirit the need to retreat and seek God’s will and purpose for this time in my life. I feel things very intensely and with being on social media, I feel like I absorb everything and it gets very overwhelming sometimes.

Aside from how I’ve been feeling spiritually, this year has been the hardest one of my life so far. I am still trying to process everything that has happened not only this year but the last couple. I’m at a place where I’m stable mentally and emotionally, but deep inside I feel empty and my heart feels shattered. There is a lot of healing that I need to do with The Lord - And I’m not trying to rush it, I need to feel it and let it all out little by little. It’ll probably take a lifetime.

Honestly if it weren’t for the fact that this community has been such a blessing in my life, I would have deactivated this account and isolated myself completely because of how much grief I feel. But God has shown me that I am not alone and that there are so many other women that are also fighting many of the battles that I am. That reassurance has brought me so much love, support, and healing. You have all helped me in ways I can’t even describe ❤️‍🩹 —> caption continues on next pictures

Oh don’t mind me, just me and my compression gear against this storm system 😥😂😭 We are expecting severe weather here in Oklahoma this evening. And my head quite literally feels like it’s going to explode from this barometric pressure change. My entire body is inflamed, achy, in pain, and throbbing. My joints feel like they’re going to snap off and break 😅

Where my hypermobile girlies at??? 😊 I had no idea that there were so many overlapping conditions with endometriosis such as adhd, hypermobility, POTS, etc. It’s bittersweet finally figuring out answers. Now I can be gentler with myself and understand why I hold things so weirdly and my body moves so abnormally lol

It was a great day with my beautiful family! 😍 But my body is definitely flaring and I’m in pain - A storm system has rolled in Oklahoma and we’ll be getting rain for the next couple of days.

Pretty proud of myself. Nov 4th I will be 3 months post op! I had major excision surgery to remove Endometriosis and a total hysterectomy to cure my Adenomyosis - After two previous ablation surgeries that made everything worse, I was barely hanging on for dear life, surviving every second of each day, and here I am, healing and feeling stronger than ever. Glory to God for leading me to @institutodoyenne 🎗️💛 I made it through the hardest season of my life.
