Not the best i’ve ever looked i must admit BUT in this photo i was EXTREMELY poorly to the point where things became life threatening and i wanted to share a bit of light on the topic🙏🏻

As pretty much ALL of you girlies will know, the pill is something that is recommended so often to us living with endometriosis to help us manage symptoms. This was the situation i was in. I got prescribed the combined pill whilst also being on tranexamic acid which if you didn’t know, a recipe for absolute DISASTER and something that should’ve never been prescribed to me TOGETHER.

I was in the midst of a endometriosis flare up which of course led me to being quite immobile for a few days and within those few days i developed 5 blood clots in my lungs in which ALL were getting dangerously close to attacking my heart. I was told one more night without urgent medical attention and i quite possibly could not have survived.

All of this happened in 2024. I was 21 years old. The combination of the combined pill, tranexamic acid and not moving around huge amounts for a few days caused this. I was fit, healthy and young with no lung or heart problems.

It’s safe to say, nearly losing my life, completely changed my perspective on life. ANYTHING really can happen to ANYBODY❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
