Lovely trip to the UNESCO world heritage Douro Valley, home of the Portwines. In summer it's around 45°C but yesterday it was freezing 6°C while on the coast it was 16°C, so I was freezing on the open boat and this was before we had any wine. The fall colors have been so nice and the Portwines really tasty. by @enfant_terrible86
Porto, what a charming and unique city! Steep hills, winding streets, beautiful azulejos (the typical portuguese tiles), the old tram (I love old trains!) and, of course, delicious pastéis de nata. 14 km of exploring and falling a little more in love with this place. But I'm very happy to leave the city tomorrow for a quieter adventure in the countryside by @enfant_terrible86
THIS is it! Hanging at the atlantic coast on a monday afternoon in november at 21°C. I'm 100% sure that I was living at the westcoast atlantic in another life because this is where I feel at home. Portugal is serving me so far. Let's go and explore more... by @enfant_terrible86
Coming home to crisp fresh air, no stress, clean surroundings, friendly neighbors and sunshine - my heart is jumping every single time. Best decision of my life to call THIS my home. #appreciationpost by @enfant_terrible86
Thank you Bad Langensalza for having us. We had a lot of sturm, rain and grey but thankfully some sunshine as well. It's a very nice clean little city in a beautiful surrounding. We did an interesting city and cellar tour and explored a lot ourselves. Absolutely can recommend a visit here. #balaliebe by @enfant_terrible86
The Nationalpark Hainich is one of few old beech tree forests in Germany. Since the bus was early and the visitor center wasn't open this early, we were the only people in the forest and it was quite magical. We even saw some wolf poo and later the ranger told us that they have 3 🐺 in the park. So it felt even more special to be the only one hiking there. by @enfant_terrible86
Bad Langensalza is such a lovely city with a lot of parks and gardens. The weather is sadly not very pleasing but I make the best out of it as always. by @enfant_terrible86
Jena might not be the most beautiful Saale city but since it's a university city, you find so many cool stores and cafes. And the botanical gardens was one of the most beautiful I've ever been to and I go to everyone I'll find. And it's a nice starting point for hiking trips since it's nestled in a beautiful hill area next to the river. by @enfant_terrible86
The river Saale is becoming my new favorite German travel area. The river itself is so beautiful, wild and natural beauty and almost all towns it runs by are so cute and worth a visit. The weather is a bit challenging for a bum bag travel only since it's 8 °C in the morning and 23°C in the afternoon but I'm the queen of layering so I went prepared. by @enfant_terrible86
What a magical day...the sound and light show at the fairy cave was just so stunning. And everything around was so well made and very nice to look at especially with this amazing Fall weather. And Saalfeld itself has a lot to offer as well. by @enfant_terrible86
So damn lucky with the weather 🙏🏼 by @enfant_terrible86
