My heart is filled with joy and gratitude after last Sunday’s pop-up! ☀️🌳🧺🍂

The afternoon was the perfect meet up of close friends, new friends, and friends of friends.

Raw Materials is the place you can come to unwind, be present, and make new connections. This community has only just begun, and I can’t wait to embrace what’s next to come 😻🫖🌸

We started a tradition of sharing our wishes on a money tree 🔖🌿

The wish: Writing a wish on paper turns a loose hope into something specific.

The tying: Tying it to a branch is a small, physical way of sharing your wish and trusting it to grow.

The tradition: For centuries, Japanese, Chinese, and Celtic cultures have practiced this ritual for prosperity.

The money tree: This tree is specifically associated with prosperity that builds steadily over time.

The braid: Its trunks of the money tree are braided together, which holds positive energy inside the plant. Each wish tied on adds to it, charging the tree with intention.

🌟 Have a wish to share? Join us at our upcoming pop-up to join the tradition. All details at the link in bio. See you there! by @enjoy.rawmaterials

This is so much more than a passion project—this is the foundation of community.

Anyone who knows me knows I love matcha. But Raw Materials is not about matcha, it’s about tea culture, and how we show up for each other. This first pop-up in my home was a reminder of that, and a commitment to cultivating shared love and respect, grounded in centuries old tradition.

If you missed this first pop-up, there’s more coming soon. Stay tuned to find out when to join us 🤭✨
