Got a lot of laps in today at the RCDrift.io Autumn Major with @fps_rc_drift 's new HPI Stage-D10. Thanks for bringing it along and letting me have a go!🙌🏻 It's actually really impressive with only minimal changes from a stock RTR. This is a game changer for getting new people into the hobby with a car that can actually be competitive. I need to get my hands on one too and enter it into our local competition. I'm sure it could do well like this. @hpiinstagram let's talk 😁 by @enjoyrc_tijs
Off to England this weekend for the @rcdrift.io Autumn Major. Looking forward to seeing some amazing battles again! by @enjoyrc_tijs
With all the news lately of the new @hpiinstagram Stage-D10 it's fun to look back at where their drift efforts started. Thanks to Adric for sourcing and shipping these parts all the way from Singapore! ✌🏻 Now the Pro-D has a working drive train again (while still keeping slight overdrive by using the 39/16t gears from the Pro-D Spec-R) and a fresh front bumper. Only a few last pieces left to aquire to complete the rebuild and start on the electronics. Who else has had or still has a Pro-D? by @enjoyrc_tijs
Little throwback to 2009 when I built this for a forum build-off challenge 😄 @tamiyarc_jp Z-Tune with a bunch of custom styrene plastic parts added. Back in the day this was pretty special. Would this still be cool today? by @enjoyrc_tijs
Collection completed! Made a quick unboxing video for you guys of my latest auction haul from Japan and it includes one specific chassis that I am really excited for! by @enjoyrc_tijs
It may look like a TRF, but don't let the colour distract you! This is actually a very early SyBrand Scythe, or here in Europe better known as the T.O.P. Racing Scythe. Before creating the T.O.P. Racing brand name, this was known as SyBrand. The early cars also originally had a brown/bronze anodizing colour before getting the signature T.O.P. red. This specific car however was custom anodized in a TRF blue colour back in Japan by the original owner, who also added TRF dampers. If you look closely you'll see some familiar parts on this car, like the Yokomo bumpers and HPI/HB Pro4/Cyclone suspension. Released back in early March of 2006, this car celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Do any of you remember the T.O.P. Racing cars, or even SyBrand?😁 by @enjoyrc_tijs
I know it's just a body, but it's one I have been searching for for a while. This is the Cross Nissan R32 JGTC in 1994 spec. The last year Nissan ran the R32's and probably the wildest spec they had. Big widebody and a massive wing. Now to sort out a set of wheels that look like the real JGTC dish wheels and put it on a chassis. It will look great next to my Cross Nissan S13 JGTC! by @enjoyrc_tijs
What's better than one rare pink TA02? Two! 😁 If you watch my stories you might know I gambled on buying a cheap TA02 from Japan a while back as I *thought* it had pink gearboxes but I wasn't sure. The car has now been restored to a pretty decent condition with a bunch of new plastic parts. It's not perfect, but most of the old TA01/2 plastics aren't anymore unfortunately after 30 years of UV exposure. It will be sold soon along with some other cool bits, but I had to take the opportunity to put both cars together. by @enjoyrc_tijs
Quick stop at @teamspaceriga and @latvianrcdrift ✌🏻 by @enjoyrc_tijs
First time at a @driftmasters.gp event and couldn't have picked a better place for it. The Bikernieku circuit in Riga is amazing, and on top of that we managed to catch the street parade just after we got off the plane. What a show! And so good to be able to get up close with the cars and drivers. I would highly recommend making the trip if you can! And get some garlic bread with your beers there too 😁🍞🍺 by @enjoyrc_tijs
Amazing edit by @artismihinnss from my final visit day at @teamspaceriga @latvianrcdrift 🤩✌️ We had a special guest today @enjoyrc_tijs 🙌 Big shoutout to @kaminskyrc for playing key role in holding the venue and providing us drifters a place to have a skids 🙏(also amazing driver!) @stan.watches visit was rather like a falling star from sky, nice to meet you in person dude🤝 Additionally @_bimarc_ @vadyrclv - amazing laps lads 💪😎 Finally our friend from US @skameigh nice to meet you and good few days at the track and driftmasters I might have missed few names, drop a comment ✌️ by @enjoyrc_tijs
One in the category 'they don't make them like they used to'.. This Mercedes C-Class body came in a job lot I got from Japan a while ago. Not really something I would normally get, but I really appreciate the history it has. This is what a competition touring car body looked like in the mid to late 90's, before the jellymould shells became popular. I mostly just love the vintage Cross and Novak stickers all over it, and the subtle silver flames painted on it. It just looks cool! by @enjoyrc_tijs
