🎉Big news from our #SportForChange community!

We are proud to celebrate a major milestone: @enshimba, founder of @umojasport, has officially been named an Ashoka Fellow (@ashokaafrica)🎖️🫱🏿‍🫲🏾

Ashoka is a leading global organization that identifies and supports social entrepreneurs driving systemic change around the world. Being selected as an Ashoka Fellow recognizes individuals with the vision and potential to create lasting systemic change, while providing them with the support and network needed to grow their impact globally.🤍🌍

This well-deserved recognition highlights @enshimba's inspiring work using sport as a powerful tool for gender equality in the Democratic Republic of Congo, creating opportunities for girls and boys to learn, lead and thrive together.

For @saltofoundation, this achievement is especially meaningful. Becoming an Ashoka Fellow was one of the key milestones we set at the beginning of this year, and seeing it become a reality is a testament to Elvis' vision, determination and tireless commitment to social change. 🩵

Congratulations, Elvis. We are proud to support your journey and excited to see the impact @umojasport will continue to create in the years ahead. 🚀

A journey filled with gratitude!

After the amazing #LeadershipInstitute at @harvard in 2025, I have completed 12 meaningful months with the @mountaintopinternational

These 12 months have been filled with mentorship, connections, opportunities, fresh perspectives, retreats, growth, and unforgettable moments. I am deeply grateful to my Lord for giving me the strength, grace, and resilience to walk through this journey.

A special thank you to @reedshaferray and @unnati_joshi4 for guiding and supporting me throughout this 12-month journey. Huge thanks as well to my fellow Fellows — now alumni — for making this experience so enriching, easy, and comfortable.

This is not the end of my journey with
Mountaintop. It continues — just in a different format.

With a grateful heart, I look forward to what comes next. #umojasportdrc #leadership by @enshimba

⚽ The Global Day of Play continues! 🎉

The celebration may have started on the 27th, but the spirit of play doesn’t stop there! 🙌

We’re excited to share more short videos from the thrilling penalty shootout that brought out so many emotions—excitement, tension, joy, disappointment, and unforgettable celebrations! 🥅❤️

Because play is more than just a game. It brings us together, creates memories, builds confidence, and gives every young person a space to feel included and empowered.

The Global Day of Play continues—and so does the joy! 🌍⚽

🎉 Celebrating the #globaldayofplay ⚽️

Today, we celebrate the Global Day of Play by bringing together more than 100 young people around the football ground for a highly competitive and exciting game. Some took to the pitch, while others cheered from the sidelines—but everyone was part of the experience.

Play is more than just fun. It helps improve mental well-being by reducing stress, opens us up to the world, and teaches us essential values such as collaboration, tolerance, resilience, teamwork, and respect.

At Umoja Sport, we believe every child and young person deserves a safe space to play, connect, learn, and grow.

Now, how will you create space for play in your daily life? 🌍⚽️
